As for the episode, what I liked about this is that we get to know Dean's inner soul (via the shape shifter). When he told Sam that he is jealous, and he fears being alone. He ranted about how he has to follow Dad all the time. It's painful to watch.

And Sam challenging him and the shifter saying, "No I'm Dean now and this is how I feel." It was pretty good.

I watched it.

I like that Sam figured out that it was ShapeShifter!Dean so quicky, since he'd only really been a full demon hunter for 6 episodes. I thought Sam's mini arc was good when see where he's realised that to do what your doing you have to distance yourself from the people you know.
The fight between Sam & ShapeShifter!Dean was intense, I felt so sorry after Real!Dean came in and Sam was bleeding. Dean finally revelling to Sam how he felt must of crushed him because some of the things Dean said was so hurtful. I thought Jensen was superb in the episode playing both good and evil Dean, ShapeShifter!Dean was super evil and creepy.

Does anyone know what the song is while ShapeShifter!Dean is running from the house with the cops after him to the sewers when he sheds the skin?

Yay, you watched it! I loved that too, Nat! I love that he knew that that thing wasn't his brother.

I agree the fight was intense! Imagine if we had one of those now.

The episode was really good and the actng was amazing. JA played it perfectly! When Rebecca starts screaming and he sort of mocks her by doing the fake screaming face. That was CREEPY!

The song? According to TWoP's recap is a Filter song (hello childhood! Hehe.) but I'm not sure which one.

I love the fight scene against J2. I did enjoy when Sam figured out it wasn't Dean. He knew his brother too much. Although, all the things he said might also work for the real Dean.

Agreed! That was the awesome thing about it, the shifter knew Dean's thoughts and knew what Dean would say, but Sam knows his brother too much to fall for it when anyone else would have.

1.05 Bloody Mary

In Toledo, Ohio, three girlfriends decide to play with the American urban legend of "Bloody Mary", saying her name three times to a mirror. None of them dies, but the father of the host. Dean and Sam read the weird obituary in a newspaper and decide to investigate the corpse, and the coroner's assistant tells that the man died of internal bleed in the brain and also that both eyes blew. They contact the girls, and sooner they find that Bloody Mary is chasing people that had caused the death of some other person, and they try to find a way to stop her.

I don't remember Bloody Mary very well. I do remember being surprised when Sam confessed he saw Jessica die in his dreams before it happened.
