definitely, S1 was the best season because you could see how Rory could fall in love with Dea because Dean is perfect, the best BF you could ask for. I don't even know why she'd let him go, if I had him, I wouldn't :lol;

I agree with what you guys said about the way they handled Jared's/Dean's departure from the show. As someone who really loves the couple, I also felt bad and betrayed that they just seemed to shrug off the character so fast, his last line ever was just, I don't even know how to put it. It's like they were rushing him out. They didn't even give him a proper/head held high sendoff. Actually, I stopped watching the show when Dean left.

Totally agree.

They didn't give them space to break up properly, it was so ridiculous to end Rory's most important relationship with someone who isn't her mom like that.

I stopped watching it as well when Jared left. I could've continued watching but they didn't do justice with Dean's character that I was mad and completely banned GG from my TV.

I stopped watching for almost a year, now I'm trying to finish the series. It's not easy, though. It feels like a whole different show without Dean.

I never stopped watching because I was so addicted to the show that I couldn't stop watching but I do agree that it was such a different show after he left. It really started going downhill

The show was very different without him but also it was amazing. I missed Dean of course and i hoped he came someday again. But i've never forgotten Dean!

Dean was so sweet and warm, you guys are right, he couldn't have been forgotten even if GG lasted 12 seasons.

I watched the last couple of episodes of S7 in the hopes that he would pop up. It was sad when he didn't.

True, I was sad that he didn't pop up for a visit, but I heard that he was at least mentioned in S7 or something

Yeah. One of the saving graces of everything was that Rory always knew how wonderful Dean was and that she was never going to replace him with anyone.
