EXACTLY! ITA! Do you know how much I'd squee if I found out Jared was in an Elm street movie?! You'd hear me from there. All my faves (Minus Jensen) have been in one of the Elm Street movies. Freddy has much more class then Jason, Jason just kills people, Freddy has quick witt! and a theme song, the one two freddy's coming for you thing. ...Jason didn't have one did he? I can't remember. ...but I'm sure Jared will make me love Jason as much as Freddy. ...unless Jason kills him then my Jason hate will be back.

Another horror movie Jared would be great for...Childs Play!
OMG! Bee do not start with me with Child's Play. I love Child's Play movies (except the Bride of Chuckie!).

I also like Freddie than Jason. I was so scared sleeping when I was a child knowing that Freddie might be waiting for me. I especially love that scene when the character was killed and put in the waterbed. That was genius! I wish Jared starred there instead of Jason. But hey! Yep, I will not get my hopes so high so I won't get disappointed much if ever. I'm sure I'll gush about Jared there though.

I love the Child's Play movies, but only the first 3 ones tho and not the once made after that.

I hope they do too, but no matter what I can't wait to see Jared on the big screen here in Holland.

I wish it was 2009 already.

I think you'll like Amanda, she's a great actress. and it's been said but she really is gorgeous, one of those people that just takes your breath away. so putting her with Jared, Excellent idea!
I might get my O.C. dvd's out and refresh my memory of her.

Ah yes, I love the slasher stuff!! Chucky and Freddy was the best, they were hilarious too. Jason no personality but would chop your ass to pieces just like that, IIEEE!!!!!! I love horror stuff bring it!! Jared loves the gorey stuff eh, he talked a bit about this movie at Con.

Ditto on Bride of Chucky that was a waste of film WTF!!! that hideous doll, boy/girl? it was the worse ever.

Bride of Chucky is an hour and a half of my life I'll never get back. ...the only good thing about that movie was John Ritter and they killed him off. WTF?

Jason my not be my favorite but I'm looking forward to this, It's going to be good, the remake of Texas Chainsaw was 110 times better then the orginal.

(still not happy about the Elm street remake though. )

Well, I'm giving it the benefit if the doubt. I did like the first Jason film although not that much. I'm looking forward to it well, first - Jared's on it; second - the people behind it are geniuses; third - well, it can still be good.

Besides Jared and Mrs. Vorhees, the movie's casting is making me nervous! However, I'm trying to remain positive.

I'm sure it will be great! I think it might be a hard sell with the critics just because it's a remake of a classic horror flick but like Gay said, has a great cast, good producers etc.

And it's bound to get tons of press...which means tons more Jared!

Press will definitely be all over it esp. with it being a classic horror movie.

Didn't they start shooting for this movie officially on a few days ago?

And maybe we'll be getting some pics from on the set of the movie too.

I'm keeping a positive view on the movie. I hope Jared had chosen a good one. If he wants his career in the movies to take off, he must choose the right movies to star in.

My sister watche Pathfinder and she said it was good so yeah, I am hoping we get a great Friday the 13th, too.

You're right Gay, leap out of the gate with the wrong movie, and you have to start back from the begining. both guys have a good rep from SPN, but if either movie bombs then they have to fight against that under their credit...i mean sure both guys have things already on their resume that aren't fanastic, but nobody knew then then.

I am going to stay optimistic, my only fear is ppl might not take to it because just mentioning it, the negative reaction was "not another one" Friday the 13th movies has surpassed the sequel limit, but hopefully ppl will give it a chance.
