We Now Pronounce You Adam & Salma Hayek to play Sandler's wife in new com Say what you like about Adam Sandler, but the man’s clearly not lacking in self-esteem. Over his last few movies alone, the superstar comedian has counted the likes of Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Keri Russell and Emmanuelle Chriqui as his on-screen love interests. And now he’s added another ultra-hottie to the list of uber-ultra-hotties, after Salma Hayek signed on to star as his wife in the as-yet untitled comedy that will see Happy Madison heavy-hitters Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider team up FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MOVIES. Rock also saw his screen wife board the project today in the shape of former SNL star Maya Rudolph. Colin Quinn, another SNL alum, also joined the Dennis Dugan-directed movie, which will see the Happy Madison Five play childhood friends reuniting on a July 4th weekend. Needless to say, hilarity ensues. Sandler wrote the screenplay with his old mucker, Fred Wolf. Let's hope they remembered to give Rudolph and Hayek something to do. I've only seen her do comedy in Dogma, but I thought she was great in that I love that film generally

Salma Hayek finally gets her fairytale wedding Washington, Apr 26 (ANI): Salma Hayek and husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, have tied the knot - for the second time -in a star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy. They originally got married in a civil ceremony at the 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris on Valentine's Day, reports People. This time around, Hayek, 42, wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere. The cute pair exchanged vows at Venice's opera house La Fenice. The couple's daughter, Valentina Paloma, 19 months, was a flower girl, along with Francois-Henri's son and daughter from his first marriage, Francois, 10 and Mathilde, 8. About 150 friends and family members were in attendance, including Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton, Woody Harrelson, Olivier Martinez, Luis Miguel, Ashley Judd, Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend, Bono, Gael Garcia Bernal, Enrique Murciano and Lily Cole, David Blaine, Ziyi Zhang, Anna Wintour and former French President Jacques Chirac and his wife, Bernadette. The wedding was a black tie affair. Guests wore black and gold masks as they arrived for the nuptials.

Salma is nominated for an 2009 ALMA award for Best Performance by an Actress In A Television comedy. The show, hosted by Eva Longoria Parker and George Lopez, will be taped on Sept. 17 in Los Angeles and broadcast the next day at 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on ABC
