The Novela within the Novela Thread: Because Salma never looked so good!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I loved the Novela parts on the tv. Cracked me up. I hope they continue to show these, maybe have a novela within the novela that we can try to watch as well.

After the commercial break....

I loved the novela I think it represents the concept that ppl usually have of novelas, and yes, there are novelas like that one: culebrones

When I watched that: 'I'm gonna name it after his father: Father!' I was Typical

Oh yes. Ever since I can remember my mom would watch these. I usually just crack up at them, not even knowing what they're saying. I always love when the end for a commercial with these looks or music.

Oh yes, when they are supossed to leave you in suspense and all I can really do is look at the screen totally and going all 'oh... my... god', that was BAD!

Because let's face it, I've seen a lot of telenovelas, and a greatest part of them were terrible! But entertaining to watch Unless the role of the girl were too pathetic, then I would have to quit.

But more and more everyday that would hange and strong, independent girls would make their way to the telenovelas. Those are the ones that really got me hooked, like 'La mentira' or 'Corazón salvaje' or 'Cosas del amor'.

I am curious to see where the novela in Ugly Betty leads us, if they ever show it again

I know. At first I was hoping it would be a continuing story, but so far it's hard to tell. I guess we have to see what happens tonight.

Here's our newest installment. I wish we had a title. I can't tell if they're the same story or not. Also, what was Mr. Suarez doing watching the Novela at breakfast time? He must be addicted.

Me too! When the 'baby'/football fell out from under her dress for a second I was like and then I burst out laughing! I was like dude, getting too involved with the show within the show already!

I’m actually looking in the mirror right now and I know that in 10 years, I won’t look like this. I’ll look 31, not 21. It’s our spirit that people will remember us for as time goes on and we grow older.-Nikki Blonsky

That was so hilarious! And, Ignacio's reaction to it was priceless.

Totally! i also love how it's clearly in English and yet has been made to look like it's been dubbed!

P.S. Thank for you responding to all my thoughts...I think you've caught up with me now
