At the moment though, I begrudge having to pay more for each Volume 1. Also I have this funny thing about owning complete sets, I'd rather have the proper boxsets than the split volumes - does that make me really weird and sad? It does, right?

I think I know what I'm gonna do though, the other day I had a look online round all my usual shopping sites, and found both complete seasons on Play for only £18 each! It's free delivery too, so woot. I think I'll get them after my next paycheck

Last summer when the 7th Harry Potter book came out, my dad got a copy of it that same night, except um, only problem was, it was the adult cover version. And you know, since my bookshelf is stacked with the children's covered versions, I was having none of it. I went out myself and bought another copy, just so that it matched the rest of my set

My parents both sported lovely 'what the hell?' faces when I started whining about the COVER!

All the HP books I have are of the children-cover variety too, because seriously, they're so much more colouful and fun than the adult versions! Talk about boring.

I talked to the the hotel where we're having the shower and if we change the tables to rectangular (rather than round), we'll be able to still use the place. We're also counting on some of the people not coming, because some are out of town.

The planning is going fine right now. Tuesday was just very interesting. I basically wasted the whole day since I spent it calling up different hotels and getting price quotes, etc. It's better that I wasted the day backtracking, though, because at least now things are okay. I'm hoping not everyone RSVPs (

) because then the place we have now will be perfect. Anyway, besides that, things are fine. I've been spending a couple hours each day to get things together.

Chief, that's so awful about the DVDs.

I don't understand why they were only selling Volume 2, but in any case, that's just irritating.

I hope you'll be able to sell it back online. I'm sorry you can't return it either.

Definitely not for everyone though, but it's awesome.

I was happy with the ending of the SATC movie. The movie was pretty perfect. There was one thing I was upset about in the movie but it worked itself out.

It sounds like a fun day, but I feel you on the money thing. Good thing for mom.

Yay, I'm glad you loved JDM/Papa Winchester. I cried too.

I said this in the Nick/Max thread, but yep, he was in the latest ep. There's only one more ep which will be Monday night.

Sleep hasn't been good again for more reasons than one.

Sumona - I love JDM and Gerard Butler, so that was a plus for the movie, but I don't think it measured up to the book.

I have an LJ, but I do nothing with it.

It does seem kind of hard to navigate. I mainly use it just to friend the communities I'm interested in.

Sadia - I'm sure before the show comes back we'll haved a million more theories. Sucks it's not coming back until January.

But, I do like all the eps airing together. I definitely stay spoiler free for Lost. I don't want to know a thing.

I can't believe there's only 2 more seasons either. I like that the guys are making sure there's a definite end point thoug because for a show like this they really do need to have a stopping point so everything fits together, etc.

As for my hair.........I can't be bothered too much either. I'm just not girly girl when it comes to that stuff. Anything that takes too much time when it comes to appearance I can't be bothered with.

Mine has gotten really long too. I might cut it soon.

I do have a MySpace. No facebook or other stuff though. Well I do have AIM/Yahoo/MSN for chatting.

Hi guys how are you!

Sorry I havent been around much lately... I'm hoping that will change eventually.

I must sound like a broken record complaining about school.

I took the SAT today for the second time and I had a job inteview from hell this week. I guess its always something.

Steph I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses Sparknotes alot. I always kind of feel guilty but I just dont have the time to read a 300 page book among all the other work.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying Supernatural I plan to tackle that next when I finish Buffy.

I'm up through Season 1 episode Four. The one where the teaching turns into a preying mantis? I think it was the best one yet. Angel and Wilow are my favorites first impression wise (although of course I'm biased

) and Buffy too. I'm hoping Xander grows on me, I find his crush on Buffy slightly annoying. But I'm only 4 episodes in so I'm sure things will change. I will keep you guys updated on my progress.

Learning to navigate a new website or use a new product is always tricky in the beginning.

I remember when I first joined

and always being told I did something wrong by one of the ER mods.

I use to quote pictures and post ones that I didn't upload myself.

I loved Willow from the beginning, too. I forgot about Xander's crush, but it definitely goes away. I actually wanted him and Willow to get together in the beginning, but that definitely changed when Seth Green joined the show.

I feel like re-watching the show now. It's been years since I've seen season one.

Steph - You know how it is with cable shows........you only get a limited number of eps and then you wait a year or longer for more.

Because of the strike, Entourage got pushed back. They are filming right now though.

So, yep, the show is still going...........it has just been ages since we had new eps and it's still going to be a long time before we get more. Same with Big love.

Drive Me Crazy is so cute!

Not spending anything would be really hard...........you definitely have to allow yourself a little room.
