Betty tries to get a scoop with Gucci's new designer, Evan York, through Hilda's customer, Sammy. Marc tries to stop her by getting Amanda and Matt to stage a showdown at Ignacio's restaurant. Daniel goes to a bereavement group and meets Natalie who shows him an interesting night. Wilhelmina flies to Bermuda to try and find Connor.

Mark is seriously mad at Betty for getting the job from last season. I'm going to love this episode tomorrow night. So much is happening in Mode.

Maybe they're finally addressing that deal he had with that celebrity TV chef from the episode Sugar Daddy. (Though I think he was just promised a chef position at a restaurant, not actual ownership or part ownership or whatever.) Or maybe the summary I got from the website is wrong. I guess they'll explain it tomorrow. I can't wait!

I prefer Matt/Amanda to Betty/Matt, but I'm glad he's going to be less of an ass to her in the workplace. I like that she called him out on it. And his reply was pathetic and no excuse for how he was treating her.

I like that Betty didn't get the client. She honestly didn't deserve to. I almost cringed thinking the client would mysteriously come back because Hilda talked to him or something, so I'm glad that was more realistic.

The bitch slap heard around the world. Loved the "text you when I'm over it"

Wili/Connor And I liked JLS on the show. A different look for her. I like how she got Daniel to open up. And great job show adressing Daniel had a "brother" - and staying with the continuity. I applaud the show for being able to not "re-write history".

Betty's attitude at the restaurant turned me off, as did Matt's. But it was such an awkward situation regardless.

Good episode. I would've said great, but I don't love Matt and the show's making it feel like they are some sort've endgame now, and that's just not cool. Like, please don't let that happen. Let's have Matt date Amanda and open her up a bit more. Please. Let Betty be either alone or with some random...or preferably Henry. Thanks!

Also, Hamish was a great guest star.
