Episode 3x22 - "In The Stars" Discussion Thread
In The Stars Thursday 14th May, 2009 Betty teams with Matt and Marc for their all-important final YETI project, a photo shoot with Grammy winner Adele, but Matt's slacking off could jeopardize everything they've worked for. Meanwhile, love is everywhere as two wedding proposals are made, but only one couple will walk down the aisle. Claire and Wilhelmina square off over their roles at Mode, and Matt's mom (guest star Christine Baranski) asks Betty for a favor. Promos Promo Pictures    Congrats to Daniel and Molly; at least they're getting married somewhere unique. Looks like a good episode! (Oh, and I posted the last pic for you lovely Detty gals who seem to be feeling blue ever since you all heard of that Horta statement.  )__________________

just as i was enjoying the episodes with molly and daniel getting married (which i had no idea about!) - this happens??!!?!? she better not be dead!!!! molly is so perfect for daniel! regarding the promo - betty please dont go back to henry! __________________

yeah i don't think she's dead but poor molly!
i liked that small matt/amanda scene where they're watching youtube vids together-dramatic chipmunk! haha and a sweet dance too between daniel and betty-aww. __________________

HEEEENNRRRYYYYY!!! PROMO!!! FINALE!!! HENRY IS BACK!!! SQQQUUUUUEEEEEE!!!
   I'm so sorry but I've been holding that in ever since I saw the promo! Stupid studying for finals week keeping me away... OMG OMG OMG... but first a few comments on the episode that was not the chock full of Henry/Betty goodness promo.  - Dear Bernadette Peters (Jodie, I think she plays): thanks for the snappy new nickname for Betty's latest beau. Matt is now officially known by me as Chair.  Oh, and thanks for making me giggle at your advances towards Marc (and your eventual snagging of him!)- Claire is one crafty awesome, lady!  Her bitchy scenes with Wili (you had it coming, Ms Slater!) were as great as her tender scenes with Daniel and the wedding planning. I actually went "aww" when she gave Daniel the Meade wedding ring (which as nice as it is, doesn't exactly symbolize faithful love). Claire owned this episode which is gonna suck when Wilhelmina plots her revenge in the finale next week.- Molly and Daniel truly are perplexing couple to me. I mean, one minute I rather like them (the proposal with the fluttering cherry blossoms was so lovely) and the next minute I'm uninterested (wedding planning has never looked so dully annoying. Plus they kissed in virtually every scene which is kinda overkill. The only two who came close on the kissing race was Betty and her Youtube-lovin' guy.) So I don't think Molly's dead just yet but... yeah...  - The only couple that kept my sympathies and had me shipping were Ignacio and Elena. His proposal was so great but of course it had to end sadly for them... long distance might work but somehow I doubt it. *sigh* One of the highlights of the events leading up to Ignacio's proposal is "If you like it then you should've put a ring on it" followed by the hand gestures from the Suarez family minus SuperDad. Honestly, that was the most hilarious scene of the episode for me! As soon as finals week is over, I'm so making a gif out of it!  - I'm sure we all knew that the woman behind the Planetarium picture was Chair's evil mother but what I didn't know was that he was so flakey. And the fact that he loses passion for something after a while is telling about his personality as a whole. (Betty had him pegged and he didn't make himself look good by running off. Sure he came back with a beloved British singer but I'm totally counting down the episodes until he gets "voted off" so to speak.  )- As usual, Marc was funny and entertaining, Amanda was crazy silly, Chair's rich daddy is mean, and I miss Christina. P.S: Did I mention that HENRY'S COMING BACK!?!? Finally after a long wait! Saving the best for last and making my old feelings resurface, oh Henry I missed you so much!!!  __________________

I finally watched the episode tonight. Loved seeing Adele.
All the Marc/Betty was great. Marc's thing Jodie was a complete crackup.Claire and Wilhelmina were quite interesting, I totally loved how that ended up. Yay for Claire! I've come to the conclusion that I don't much care for Matt, I haven't really liked him in the past several episodes and I don't think he and Betty have anything special, so yeah. Quote:
