Betty meets Matt's mother (guest star Christine Baranski) but things don't go as she expects. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina gets creative to solve a cash flow problem, Daniel deals with the latest wrinkle in his relationship with Molly, and the Suarez family conspire to set Hilda up with Archie (guest star Ralph Macchio), the promising city councilman from Queens.

I liked this ep, but I don't think it really took me somewhere...I mean, I don't feel like it was "ended", I don't know...
I liked Betty/Claire scenes more than everything. Claire is my favourite character, I love her so much *-* She's like a mother to Betty, and she cares about her like she cares about Daniel and Alexis. I also liked a lot when she told Betty that she and Daniel always talks about Betty and her family, it was a very sweet scene *-*

Molly is always more boring...I'm not able to like her at all. And I think she makes Daniel be boring as well.

On the contrary, I like Matt, but I don't see so much chemistry between him and Betty. I dont' think she truely likes him, it's like she thinks that Matt is a great guy and so she has to be with him. But I think Betty likes to have someone interested in her, just as Gio or Jesse, so she starts a relationship with every guy who likes her. Matt is, obviously, more similar to her than Gio or Jesse were, so that relationship will last more, but I still don't think he could be THE ONE. I'm sure he is totally into her, but she doesn't seem to feel the same way.
But I totally liked when Matt left the party with Betty, fighting with his mother. I love him, even if I cant' see him with Betty, and I hope that Betty won't break his heart. I don't know why, but I feel like it's going to happen, but I hope not, I don't want him to be hurt.

I really liked Amanda <3 "when we were roomies we shared everything" "no, Amanda, YOU shared everything, and sometimes it was a little weird" Mandy is such a great character *-* I'm sorry there was no Amanda&Marc scenes in this ep

I completely agree, Daniel is much more exciting and interesting to watch when he's with Betty. Their dynamic and chemistry is undeniable.

I love the scenes with Betty and Claire and the fact that Daniel and Claire talk about Betty and her family. I love the how the Suarez family was trying so hard to get Hilda and Archie together. It was very funny to watch and I'm very glad it worked out in the end. I'm a little sad that we only had two Daniel and Betty scenes it they weren't even that great. I don't know how to feel about Matt. He's such a great guy. A part of me can't help but feel like he's turning into that guy, that great guy who is perfect for you in every way but you still pick the guy who is not so perfect. Honestly I can't find anything imperfect about this guy. Is it wrong of me to like him better than Daniel sometimes, not just as a person but also Betty's love interest. I won't change from being a Detty shipper but sometimes Matt and Betty seem more comparable than Daniel and Betty. Maybe is just me swooning at the fact that Matt defended Betty and left the party with her. And despite what we saw on the preview I don't think he's two timing Betty.

I agree with all of you,I dont like Molly and Daniel because she makes him boring and I dont know I just dont like her *shrugs* BUT in contrast I do like Matt and Betty, I think he reminds me alot of Daniel in some sense I dont think they will last in ALL means (but I agree with Luna I dont think hes two timing her) but I do think they might be together for awhile
and I to LOVED Amanda she cracks me up and I love the friendship she has with Betty now I LOVE that she calls her "B"

I don't know that they get them first, I know the pictures just come from ABC whenever they're released, and likewise for the sneak peeks.

Anyway, I liked this episode, a lot!

Matt/Betty - I was really happy with the way Matt stuck up for Betty against his mum and outright defied her, showing that he cares for Betty, that was so sweet. I get the feeling Betty is still sort of holding back with her feelings for Matt, but I like the two of them together, I wouldn't mind seeing a decent sort of run for them.

Daniel/Molly - I'm still neutral about Molly, though I don't dislike her as much as I used to, but they're kinda sweet. I just think it's a shame when the relationship is doomed to badness because of her impending death. I thought it was really considerate of Daniel to put aside his worries and attempts to make her better, and concentrate on what she wants. I'm so proud of him!

Wilhelmina - Poor Willie, I felt really bad for her because having to sell your things for money is kind of pathetic, but I'm glad she bounced back at the end. And I liked the little moment with her and Daniel, I enjoy their sniping at one another, but also their mutual understanding of each other.

Marc was good, though there wasn't much purpose to him except to be at Willie's side this time. He was still amusing, like when he was taking pictures of her

I liked Amanda's brief conversation with Betty, I still miss them as roommates!

Archie/Hilda - Yay for Hilda coming round! Archie is cute and a good guy, and she deserves someone like him, so I'm glad she's giving him a chance, and I'm glad he didn't give up.

Loved the family stuff as always, and how unsly they were being at setting Hilda and Archie up. Also Papi fawning over the councilman always makes me laugh. And I loved Justin and his potato!

Claire was made of win, I loved all her scenes with Betty, and how she gave her advice like a mother would Her comment about Hilda and Archie totally cracked me up, I love that Betty and Daniel share everything, and Daniel and Claire have an interest in the Suarez family, it's so sweet and foreshadowey!

Umm, I think that's it. Good episode!

There was alot of love in this episode. I thought it was sweet but I dunno... it lacked something and I think someone mentioned it felt like it didn't have a real ending.

Matt and Betty seem like they would make better friends than BF/GF but I like their interactions and he's great for sticking with Betty when his mom got all judgmental.

I'll join Sadia in the ambivalent boat when it comes to Daniel and Molly. They're okay but I wouldn't miss her if she died next week.

I like how Elena is a sort of matriarch to Hilda and Betty now. Very nice. And they really aren't very subtle when it comes to fixing up Hilda with the Councilman. Here's hoping this love connection lasts for more than half a season.

Marc and Wilhelmina were great together (as usual) but it was Wilhelmina in a black bodice-type garment that killed me! Dramatic and sexy at the same time!

I liked this episode a lot too! Lots of development and classic character moments. I especially liked Archie/Hilda. I don't care how typical it was, it was really adorable and I really loved Elena in this ep. Good stuff.

I can't wait to discuss the new ep tonight...YAY for March Break!
