Episode 1x7: "AFTER HOURS" Discussion Thread
Thursday, Nov. 9 @ 8/7c!
"After Hours" Betty takes a break from her escalating family troubles when she's assigned to review a posh new hotel. Meanwhile, Daniel is dismayed when Sofia Reyes (guest star Salma Hayek) and her team take up residence in the Mode conference room, and Wilhelmina goes a little bit country to woo a mega rich Texan (guest star Brett Cullen) to advertise his stores in Mode. Can't wait for tonight! __________________

So excited, though I must admit I hope this epiode's better than the last two. Episode 4 was still the best, but I'm looking forward to this one. Hopefully it'll be on the same level as week 2 or 3. But whatever! Can't wait! 45 minutes, yay!

This has been my favorite episode so far which is odd because I hate Sofia/Daniel and I can't stand Walter.

I loved tonight's ep, definitely a fave! It was so touching....I especially loved all the Santos/Hilda and Sofia/Betty stuff. And, of course Daniel/Betty remain

It was a great episode! I am really liking the Sofia/Betty interaction so much. I am glad Betty has another friend besides for Christine. Even though I don't like Walter, the last scene made me go "awww".

It was a pretty good episode.
 I'm only sad about the number of Daniel/Betty scenes. I'm just not feeling Daniel/Sofia .. and after hearing she has a boyfriend.  I like Sofia when she is around Betty though. She seems a lot more easy-going and natural. Wilhelmina wasn't as bitchy tonight and I missed that about her. I like it when the whole cast is at Mode and not scattered around everywhere. I can't stand Walter! He is so whiny. __________________

i really liked tonights episode. the Sofia/Betty interactions were good and i like how Betty has someone else she can talk to and feel enpowered by.
not a fan of Daniel/Sofia. here he's been trying to get with her, and then she finally takes action then crushes him by telling him she has a boyfriend. perhaps it was on purpose, maybe showing him what its like to invest in someone only to have them break your heart? i dunno, just my theory. omg. Marc. how funny was he at that bar ... especially when the bra got threw on him, then when the girl came over to him w/ the menu on her shirt and the other girl laid down across the bar for him to take a shot.  i'm kinda digging Santos (i think thats his name? Hilda's ex) ... he's attractive, and it seems like maybe he is going to make an effort to be there for them. __________________

I'm scared for the Santos/Justin encounter.
Walter really sucks. Daniel/Sofia stinks. Oh and Betty wearing an ugly prom dress to dinner? Come on.... Nobodys that out of touch in reality. __________________
