They have had some great moments lately, so it's nice to have a thread for them now.

I really thought Betty had gotten through to Amanda in their first conversation. But, that would have been too easy. Marc and Amanda are the close ones and it makes sense that he was the one to get through to her. But, it was obvious Betty's words had an effect on her too. I loved their scene at the courthouse.

And the Betty/Amanda moments where Betty was high on the perfume were hilarious.

Oh and for the title, I'm thinking maybe the best friend quote from when Betty was loopy.

I loved their scenes, both heartfelt and funny. I thought Betty had gotten through to Amanda, but it was right to have Marc be the one in the end. What I liked most about that scene was how Betty didn't really yell at her. She was pretty understanding of her feelings even when I was getting really aggravated with her, lol. I was also shocked that Amanda switched the perfume. Their final scene totally made up for it, though. Mandy's grin as she walked away was so sweet.

What best friends quote, Mel? My memory's pretty awful, hee.

Betty/Amanda have a bond with having lost their mothers. I've really enjoyed seeing things change a bit between them this season.

Oh gosh Steph, scrap that.............when I watched again I realized that wasn't even an Amanda scene. It was Eva that she made that comment to.

It's definitely been great to get a couple sweet moments. Their relationship is usually fun, but it's a nice change to see them realize they have more in common than they thought.

I have always loved Betty/Amanda interactions and in season two the "emotional" ones were just awesome. I loved when Amanda and Betty talked about Amanda's father in the Secret Sex Room but my fav scene was the one at the Courthouse; Amanda doing the right thing was the best

Great post, Sibel! While I love all the snarky moments we've gotten, the emotional ones definitely have a special place in my heart. I remember the great Mel talking about this when the episode aired that while it had to have been Marc to finally get through to Amanda, you still know that her conversation with Betty affected her, too.

Their scene outside the courtroom was too sweet. Becki did an amazing job there. You really got the impression that Amanda kind of got validation from Betty's approval.
