Thanks for the pictures, Pan! And is it just me, or does Betty look awfully skinny in that one where she's got on the blue skirt. Wasp-waist!

I rewatched the last episode last night and decided that Daniel did actually give more of an apology in that last scene than I had initially felt. None of it was particularly warm, but some of my perception of chilliness was coming from Betty, who really did not seem satisfied when he said he should've realized it would be weird for her to see him with a new assistant, that it was weird for him, too. The way she gave that tight smile and said, "Right," suggested she was still uncomfortable with it all. I do think she's reacting to some degree to Natalie as his new assistant, but moreso to Natalie as his new BFF.

I don't think there's going to be much Detty in the next episode. But probably plenty in the one after. Can I just gripe here for one second about the UB schedule? Seems like we just got UB back on at all after a lo-o-o-o-o-ng summer break and one month in they're already pre-empting a potentially key episode to a crappy night--Black Friday.

I think that is what all Detty shippers believe. That is why we want to see them together.Who else wants to see Daniel do without Betty for a while?I think it could possibly make him evaluate the way he feels about her.I think he would miss her enough to realise that he does love her.

Also look at this

According to insiders, Betty also has a creative resurgence in the works, including an episode in the spirit of Run Lola Run in which Betty must race across town to deliver a diamond-encrusted bra which sounds pretty exciting. ABC execs asked producers to move the episode up to an earlier date because they liked it so much, according to my mole.

And yet I'm also told that Betty's writers have accepted the possibility that this year's season finale could possibly be a series finale if the ratings don't improve. "The big question is: Who will Betty end up with in the end? Gio? Henry? Daniel?" one mole tells me. "The writers' room is divided."

Nice to know someone in the writer's room could be fighting our corner .

Also just to let you know a new Detty clip from Backseat Betty is up at the bachelor and butterfly website and youtube.

Wow, thanks for the news Shaz! It's nice to know at least some of the writers are fighting our case!

it's a good news

I totally thought Gio and Henry were out of the picture with Matt now, but apparently they're not

And seriously, I know I'm not objective but who will care if in the finale of UB, they give us a flashfoward with Daniel and Betty living happily married with ten kids, the show would still be over so ...

I wouldn't object to it at all! And at we'd know that they ended up falling in love and spending their lives together!

that would be ...

"Well, it seems to me that the best relationships-- the ones that last-- are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is... suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with." ~ Dana Scully

I think we should add her name to the honorary shippers list

thats great news I personally think the majority of the Writers are rooting for the Daniel/Betty ship so if THIS IS the Last Season maybe we'll get that and Cyndie I ACTUALLY can see them doing the end like that I'M TOLD thats what happened with the Original (I'm spoiler spacing just in case)
Spoiler:
I'm told what happened was on the last episode of Ugly Betty they flash forward to a few years later where the Daniel and the Betty are married and she's giving birth to their Daughter and then about a year after that they Have a spin off involving thier Daughter being all grown up and heading up Mode Magazine

I think we all do BUT if the show has to End because of bad ratings or whatever I"d be okay with a Flashforward type thing atleast we'd know it happened

I really don 't understand why they'd want to pair them up with other people when D/B are perfect for each other .And if the writers want help on which way to swing .They can look at the poll.its at 77% now, how is that for a statement.

totally, it's better than nothing I didn't know about the original, I think I'd be fine if we have that with Detty

If they flashforward I would rather they show a Detty scene that ties in to s1. Like they could show Daniel proposing to Betty on the Brooklyn Bridge. Or even Detty's little daughter spinning in Betty's old chair while Daniel/Betty watch her from his office through the glass.

There was a window open with the stereo on, and I viddied right at once what to do.

its funny how we keep expecting more and more from Detty when we don't even know if we will get a Detty romance.lol.I definitely want Daniel to propose on Brooklyn Bridge and even if they use fast forward i do want them to have a child together.

I always loved Detty but I never thought they would happen (or at least not anytime soon) until I watched 4.01/2. Right away I knew that it was the Detty season. If for some chance I'm wrong than I'll be really pissed at the writers. But until then I'm pretty sure we're getting Detty.

Miss Bass I TOTALLY understand what you mean I like that idea and if they did have a thing with thier daughter it would tie in with the original and it would be a very awesome thing
Cyndie I only know that because my Friend used to watch it and she told me about the ending and the spin off
