I haven't seen much of his stand-up so I can't speak about that, but he comes across as arrogant and pompous in general, so I don't like him.

If she could play show writer for a day, here's how she would script her character (Christina McKinney, the seamstress) back into the show: "I would like to see her come back hugely successful, and she gives Wilhelmina [Vanessa Williams] a run for her money. Maybe she's got her own design line, or something, and Wilhelmina needs her design line, so Wilhelmina has to bow down, sort of beg Christina. That's feasible isn't it?"

Here's hoping the UB writers take it up. BTW, did that show's pilot already air? Or was the article talking about some kind of early screening they saw that made them laugh?

Happy Belated Birthday to Ashley!

That storyline would be too funny, but great after everything Wilhelmina put her through. I do hope if we see her again she's happy and successful with her designs.

I agree. Especially after she was chosen as one of the up-and-coming designers to watch at Fashion Week in S1, and then nothing ever really came of that. I'd love it if she was a successful designer by the time she returned, that'd be awesome!

Hestia, the article was talking about the people at Watch With Kristin who saw the pilot, it won't actually air until September.

Yeah... I couldn't get around to watching Accidentally on Purpose because of my severe allergy to, um, hokey laugh tracks.

Okay, I do watch sitcoms on occasion (I'm a huge fan of HIMYM) but the promos didn't do much to bring me in and, well, did anyone else give the show a shot?

I would've, but I've quit watching shows with audiences/laugh tracks (with the exception of American Gladiators and The Muppet Show).

I totally forgot about the pilot! I'll have to see if I can get my hands on it somehow, I'll watch and give it a shot.
