That's the leather jacket that Peter wore when they were burning a body they thought was Sylar, but it was actually a shape-shifter that made himself look like Sylar.

He was kinda pissed when he found out that Matt put Nathan's memories into his body, and his own mind was stuck in Matt's brain.

No. Thank goodness they didn't do that. But they did flirt with the whole Claire/Gretchen thing.

The writers just made a huge mistake with Peter/Claire... they could've went down as one of the most popular/biggest pairings in television history... |

Sorry, Dave.
I agree, Tia. But it was Tim Kring's call, and he was an idiot. __________________

also blame the Writing script supervisor and the executive who makes the final decisions on scripts.... with movies...it's just 1-2 people who write...so you can only blame 3-4 people if it's a Bad Script... TV shows...they have a Writing Team

^ You can but it this case it was all Tim Kring. The other producers/cast members talked about their chmistry. Tim Kring (main one in charge) wanted everything to stay as planned.... |

If Tim was majority owner of the show....then I guess he had the final say on stuff and if it failed... well, you know bad decisions can lead to cancellations of shows even if a show has one or 2 more seasons that could be done financially

I thought it was ironic that NBC fired Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander but kept Kring on as showrunner. Loeb and Alexander weren't the ones calling the shots, Kring was.

there must be an inside story on why that person was fired instead of the Showrunner...

It made the cover of Entertainment Weekly in 2008, Dave. 'A Series In Crisis.' Ironically, Loeb and Alexander both knew comics a lot better than Kring, who admittedly knew nothing about comic books.
