Nah, that's regenerative healing which is more science fiction... although they do think that jellyfish might have the key to how that works because there are some species that can actually do what Claire does to a certain extent.
The bone conditioning is just something that's standard in martial arts. It's the reason why Kung Fu fighters, Karate fighters, and Muay Thai fighters always condition their limbs by hitting hard objects. It creates micro fractures in the shins and forearms that heal and re-calcify and make the bones stronger. It can even toughen up the knuckles, although you only want to hit with the two knuckles above your index finger and middle finger because they align with the radius and ulna in your forearm. You do not hit with the two smaller outside knuckles where the ring finger and pinky finger are because those can get damaged. __________________

Relax, it's been a long time, Dave.
I haven't trained since the 1980s. My dad's bankruptcy in 1991 made it impossible for me to afford the classes, unfortunately.  No, they never cloned anyone on the show. Except that one creepy guy who could make multiple copies of himself. __________________

 It's biblical. Jesus chose the name for Simon Peter. Petrelli also means rock in Italian.__________________
