Claire: That man? That's the man my father works for, he's the one I've been running from. I gotta get out of here.
Peter: Woah, woah, wait a minute. *pulls her back* We don't know what's happening in there.
Claire: Oh, God, I can't believe I've been so stupid, my father took a bullet to keep me from that man and now he's with Nathan.
Peter: It can't be what you think.
Claire: Why do you keep running back to him?
Peter: 'Cause he's my brother.
Claire: The truth is, you have no idea what's going to happen. You're scared.
Peter: Yeah, I am, I'm terrified. I have to find a nuclear man and I don't know if I can contain all that power.
Claire: Then run the other way!
Peter: I can't!
Claire: Why not?
Peter: Because if we save ourselves, who's going to save everyone else? You're not alone, Claire, alright? You coming?
Claire: No, this is crazy. I'm getting out of here.

Peter: You weren't even gonna say goodbye.
Claire: Goodbye.
Peter: I think I figured out a way for you to save the world. *hands her a gun*
Claire: A gun? That's how I save the world, that's your plan?
Peter: I can handle Ted, but if I lose it you're the only one who could get close enough to stop me. Right through the back of the head, you know the spot. Same place you pulled the piece of glass from.
Claire: My destiny is not to shoot you, the universe cannot be that lame.
Peter: You cannot run away from who you are, Claire. This bomb is happening.
Claire: How can you be so sure?
Peter: Because I can draw the future. Met a guy who can do it and now I can do it, you see? Someone's going to blow, me, Ted, doesn't really matter. It's happening around the election unless you stop it.
Claire: That's Ted. You drew Ted.
Peter: Are you sure?
Claire: I could never forget that face.
Peter: The Kirby Plaza. Midtown. Ted is here, in New York. Don't you see, Claire, you're a part of this. But you have to do this. *gives her the gun*

Peter: There's no sign of him.
Claire: *sighs*
Peter: What's wrong?
Claire: I'm not normal. I tried to pretend that I was and I just hurt everyone. My mom, my dad. I ruined everything because of what I am. I hated it. But you...when I met you I finally felt like I was part of something.
Peter: It's funny. Felt the same thing when I met you. *dries her tears*

Peter: Claire!
Ted: What's he doing?
HRG: He's absorbing your ability.
Matt: He's got to make it stop.
Peter: *struggling to contain the power* Claire, you know what you have to do.
Claire: *gets the gun out of her bag, staring at Peter the whole time*
Peter: Do it.
Claire: *lifts gun*
Peter: Wait! *controls it* I'm okay.

HRG: So Peter Petrelli's your uncle?
Claire: You didn't know that?
HRG: There's a lot of things they never told me.
Claire: I thought that Peter was the only one who could protect me. But now you're here. Why did you come here, with them?
HRG: The people I used to work for have a tracking system that can find anybody anywhere in the world. We came here to destroy it. That's the only way we can ever start over, build a normal life.
Claire: Is that even possible? I mean, I'm not normal and they're not normal. Everything that's been happening to us has been so monumentally unnormal. I mean, maybe Peter's right. Maybe we all have a destiny and it's to save the world, together.

*talking about Ted leaving the city*
Peter: Yeah, but you're not a terrorist! You need to get out of town before you become one.
*HRG and Claire walk up*
HRG: There's a town in Nebraska. Windyfort (?), population 15. I want you to go there and wait for me to contact you.
Claire: He gave me directions.
Matt: You're sending your daughter with them?
HRG: Claire tells me she has a destiny. She stopped Ted from melting down before and saved all our lives. She can do it again. She can stop both of you.
Peter: *after looking very in awe of Claire* *to Ted* You coming?
Ted: I'm in.
Sylar: *sexily* Me too.

*Ted, Peter, and Claire are walking through the city*
*Might I add Peter and Claire are grinning throughout this entire scene*
Claire: You know, I've been thinking after we save the world, I may go on patrol. You know, jumping in front of bullets and dragging people out of burning buildings.
Peter: You're not going to catch me wearing a cape, zipping around with my underwear outside my pants.
Claire: Why do we have to rent a car, can't we just fly to Nebraska?
*Peter turns around and gives her a look*
Claire: In a plane.
*Peter turns back around, smirking*
Ted: The FBI's got my face all over wanted posters -
Sylar's Thoughts: He's a fugitive? I can use that to get his power.
*Peter hearing Sylar's thoughts, stops*
Claire: What is it?
Peter: Sylar, he's here, he's watching us. (He heard me talk about my underwear.)
Claire: Right now?
Peter: He knows what Ted can do. We need to get off the streets.
*pulls Claire off the street and into a building*
Ted: *adorkably* Who's Sylar?
*Sylar eats ice cream*

*Ted, Peter and Claire leaving the building*
Ted: So this guy Sylar, he kills people like us?
Peter: Yeah, to take what we can do.
Ted: How does he manage that?
Claire: He rips your head open.
Ted: I say we stick to the plan and get out of this city.
*The FBI shows up*
Ted: *to Peter and Claire* Get out of here, go!
Peter: Let's get out of here, Claire. *pulls her toward him*
Let's go! *still with his arms around her, they go invisible and melt into the crowd*

*Peter and Claire on the street, in a car, on a roadtrip*
*honkings and sirens are going off*
Peter: *yelling* Hey, move the cones! Come on, get moving!
Claire: Is this the only way out of the city?
Peter: No, but it's the fastest.
(I think Peter forgot he could fly here. Joanna and I could have gotten our flying fantasy scene, but noooo.)
*gets out of the car*
Claire: *gets out of the car and jumps on it, leaning forward*
*they go to investigate what has happened*
*Peter looks at Claire before doing so*
Peter: Sylar got him. He killed Ted.
Claire: Does that mean Sylar could do what Ted could do?
Peter: He's the one. He's going to wipe out the entire city.
Claire: You've got to stop him.
Peter: I don't think I can. The last time I fought Sylar he killed me.
*Peter grabs her again to pull her away, more gently this time* Come on, come on.

*during Nathan's speech*
*Peter and Claire run back to the car*
*For some reason, the writers show us again that they don't act like uncle and niece by having Claire give Peter a LOOK. And have Peter turn around, and meet her gaze with a LOOK of his own.*

HRG: (I guess he's Noah now): Put Peter on the phone, please.
CLAIRE: He wants to talk to you.
PETER: *takes the pretty pink phone* Hello?
LOTS OF DIALOGUE: *takes place*
HRG: Whatever you do, just stay close to Claire's phone, okay? I'll contact you the second we have a location. And whatever you do, you keep Claire safe, you understand?
PETER: *looks at Claire* Yeah.
*closes the pretty pink phone and drives into a parking garage*
CLAIRE: What are we doing here?
*Peter pulls up in front of Nathan and Claire looks incredulous*
CLAIRE: I actually believed you. You lied to me, you said you weren't going to call him.
PETER: I know, but think about it Claire, we can't do this alone.
CLAIRE: No, you think about it. We can't trust him.
PETER: Yes we can trust him, Nathan has never let me down.
CLAIRE: Nathan doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about anyone. He doesn't care about me and I'm his own daughter. We do not need him.
PETER: Yes we do.
CLAIRE: Why?
PETER: Because I'm afraid, okay? And I need my brother to help us.
CLAIRE: *thinking* You lied to me, Peter. I trusted you.
*Peter unbuckles his belt and gets out of the car; Claire watches him leave*
*Peter talks to Nathan about Sylar being the bomb; Claire gets out of the car*
NATHAN: Look, if what you're saying's real, then there's no reason to involve Claire in this, it's just too dangerous.
PETER: No, she has to stay with me.
NATHAN: She's just a kid, Pete.
PETER: If I find Sylar and I'm able to stop him, then she's the only one who can stop me if something goes wrong.
NATHAN: You're going to be fine.
PETER: How do you know?
NATHAN: You told me that you could regenerate, that you could survive.
*thinking* There's nothing you can do to stop it, Peter. They're all going to die.
*Peter starts to back away from Nathan*
NATHAN: What is it?
PETER: Claire was right about you.
*Claire is running up the stairs, out of the parking garage, and runs into Angela*
NATHAN: What are you talking about?
*Peter looks over toward the car, which Claire is no longer in*
PETER: Claire? Claire!
NATHAN: Peter!
*Peter turns invisible and runs away, out into the street*
PETER: Claire!!!!
*Peter's hands start to glow and he collapses to the ground*

*HRG and Claire are talking on the phone*
HRG: I need to find Peter. Where is he?
CLAIRE: I don't know, they won't tell me.

NATHAN: I have to get some paperwork. I won't be coming back to the office.
ANGELA: Helicopter's picking us up from the roof in ten minutes. When the jet lands tomorrow morning, you'll (Claire) be safe.
CLAIRE: But everyone else'll be dead. *looks from Angela to Nathan* How can you do nothing to stop this?
ANGELA: It's inevitable, dear. There's nothing anyone can do about it.
CLAIRE: That's insane! Nothing is inevitable, the future is not written in stone!
NATHAN: I'm afraid this one is.
CLAIRE: If everything is so inevitable, then why has she (Angela) been trying to keep us apart all these years?
ANGELA: There are things you simply aren't mature enough to understand yet.
CLAIRE: Yeah, like how you can let your own son die like this. *turns to Nathan* Your own brother.
NATHAN: He's not going to die.
ANGELA: Thanks to you, Peter has the ability to survive.
CLAIRE: So he lives and kills millions of people. How can you let him be responsible for something like that? *turns to Nathan again* And how can you live with yourself if he is?
NATHAN: Claire, I know that it's hard for you to trust me right now, but this is all going to make sense very soon, I promise.
ANGELA: We are offering you everything you've ever wanted, Claire, a place to belong, a family.
CLAIRE: I already have a family. *Claire runs and jumps out of the window*

HRG: Peter! Peter! Wake up, wake up!
PETER: I must have blacked out. How did you find me?
HRG: I told you, we have a tracking system.
PETER: And where's Claire?
HRG: She's safe, she's with your mother.
PETER: My mother?
HRG: Yeah, they're on their way out of the city right now.
PETER: Okay, then you need to leave, too. I don't think I can control this.
HRG: No, I'm staying with you. You saved my daughter's life. I told you I owed you for that. Consider this payback.

PETER: Do it. Do it. You're the only one, Claire.
*Claire is clearly struggling, her hand shaking with the gun, crying*
CLAIRE: *sobbing* Tell me there's another way, please!
PETER: Shoot me. There is no other way.
*Claire's face is set with determination as she holds the gun. Nathan comes flying down, standing himself between Peter and Claire.*
NATHAN: Yes, there is, Claire. The future isn't written in stone. *pushes her hand down*
PETER: I took his power, Nathan. I can't control it. I can't do anything.
NATHAN: I'm not leaving you, Peter. There's another way to end this and you know it.
PETER: I can't let you die.
NATHAN: And I can't let everyone else. *looks at Claire, then back at Claire* You saved the cheerleader, so we could save the world.
PETER: I love you, Nathan.
NATHAN: I love you, too. You ready?
*Nathan picks up Peter and they fly away, while Claire and everyone else looks on. There is an explosion in the sky, where Peter has fulfilled his destiny. HRG hugs Claire, who smiles through her tears*

I chose this part because I really think that there is a Peter/Claire scene, there is something like magic and Hayden/Claire seems wear a halo. Peter have a really great esteem of Claire, since they met each other he became attached to her, he has a strong connection. When he talked to Claude about her in 1x14, he had a beautiful light in his eyes! And because "Halo" is Milo&Hayden relationship's name, it's a sign of fate!

These lines just scream Paire at me . In the beginning we meet Peter and he really believed he had an ability and a purpose (even though everyone thinks hes nuts). He meets Claire and by saving her, he confirms it. Its like his experience with her is proof that he was right to believe they each have a purpose and can do good in the world. Then they become companions because each of them was alone before they met. Claire had no one who REALLY understood. Zach knew her secret but had no ability himself. Peter was in the same position because Nathan was in denial. So when Peter and Claire find eachother they are not alone anymore.

Heroes Season one came and went and I had never even seen clip but one day I accidentally came across a Paire music video. They met because it was destiny but it was out of the blue. Claire never thought she will find someone like Peter and Peter never thought that the cheerleader he had to save could mean so much to him. They need each other, they need to show each other the way. In their relationship for me there's more than just a "family" bond. They have feelings for each other and they can't fight them. They won't say it but they always try to show it somehow. It doesn't matter if they try to run away or forget about the other, they just can't.

It was in the Pilot but it's more than one scene. It's the moments before the eclipse and the eclipse. Both were trying to to talk to someone close to them (Claire-Zach, Peter-Nathan) but they didn't understand them. They were both lost, looking for something else. They knew they wanted something different, they knew they were special. But they had something the other was missing. From that moment I started thinking they would understand each other and that they were perfect for each other.

Love knows no boundaries, no distance, no fear. How Peter and Claire first met I would consider it a fluke when they just bumped into each other and Peter didn't even knew then it was her he had to save. But he still managed to get to her in the end and while they were running away from Sylar, they didn't care about their own safety. Even after he found out from Ando that he would "die" if he had gone to save her but yet he still went for her. And Claire in the finale could have left the country to avoid the big catastrophe of Peter blowing up but she still went after him all the same. So even though they have yet to say the three special words, when they could be that worried for each other at their own expense that I believe they do have this subtle and hidden love attraction for one another just waiting to be unwrapped and which would just open up all boundaries despite their supposed 'blood relation'.

Peter in the early episodes I would say was pretty confused and suspicious of his newfound superpower and that lead him to be rather capricious in his actions like diving off the top of the building more than once. While Claire wasn't exactly the happiest girl deep down when she was having problems in her social life having to keep her secret power even from her own foster family. And she also dove off the top of a bridge and building. Then they met each other and he helped her escape Sylar and she gave him the ability to heal. And so when he repeatedly had brushes with death involving Sylar. who threw him off the building abruptly and Sylar who ended up "killing" him, Claire was there to save him in return. They were able to understand and confide in each other aided by the fact that they were the only two with the same powers. And they were holding hands too like the last part of the lyric while escaping Sylar together in both attempts.

I would say I officially became a big fan of them when Claire visited him in the cell and they had this heart-to-heart chat with one another. And Claire proclaiming Peter as her hero with a smile and Peter smiling back in acknowledgement just struck a chord with me.

I guess I chose these lyrics because to me it sums up there relationship, Claire and Peter found out about being related to one another after a deeper more intense bond had been formed- i guess this is how I see them feeling about the new development to their relationship-about how can their original bond be wrong when it feels right. I also chose this because time and time again there have shown what immense belief they have in one another.

I guess Homecoming, the scene in the hallway, but also the scene where she visits him in jail 'you're totally my hero'-the chemistry in that scene was just jaw-dropping. I guess the real indication that I am a 100% Paire shipper is the fact that I have only just started watching Heroes here in the UK on BBC2, and as I write this they still haven't met in the show. I heard through the grapevine about the awesome chemistry between hayden and milo and decided to check them out on youtube and fell in love.

When she visits him in jail after Homecoming. The ways she is so shy and eager to see him, the way he is ecstatic to find she is alright. Hayden's face is one of worshipping, and I don't think we had never seen Milo smiling so much in all the series together as in that scene. Plus, the way - and I particularly love that about this scene - in which Peter can't stop looking at her, then it's like he doesn't want to look at her - 'cause gosh, she is 16! - but he CAN'T stop his eyes from going back to her. It's all about the eyesex, we've always known it.

I would have to say all-consuming. If you think about the scenes that these two have shared already, they're only focused on each other. Peter's desperation to save Claire was all-consuming; he left his job, he left Simone behind, developed a strained relationship with his brother, and even died for Claire. In the hallway, after Peter gives Claire her bag back, she had to turn around and talk to him, a complete stranger, even though she had a game to get ready for. During the jail scene, they are completely focused on each other, and Peter can't look away from her, even when Mr. Bennet is introducing himself. From then on it continues - Claire is desperate to find Peter, traveling all the way to New York by herself to find him, leaving behind the Haitian. She did whatever it took to get to him, then, and even in the finale. When they're around each other, it seems like nothing else matters. Heck, when Claire saved Peter and Peter woke up, did he pay any attention to his mother and brother? No. ALL of his attention was on Claire. The bond they share is just that consuming.

I think there are a lot of quotes and lyrics that can be used to describe their relationship, but one that I've always really loved is -

I think this song perfectly captures how quickly Claire and Peter were able to put their trust in each other. If you think of Claire specifically, she's had so many people in her life that she can't trust, so many people that have lied to her. Yet she puts all of her faith into Peter, knowing that he cares for her and that he'll keep her safe. For Peter, Claire is the one who brought him a purpose in life, a mission, but she's so much more than that to him. When he knew he was going to blow up, he needed her there with him; he was extremely adamant about it. He knew that if she was there, everything would work out. As long as they're with each other, everything is alright.

To take an actual quote from the show -

Before I hit the ground, when I knew what was about to happen, I had this flash in my head of this girl that I met in Texas. This cheerleader - she could heal herself. God, she's a sweet kid. Peter to Claude, about Claire

I love this quote because it shows just how much Claire is in Peter's thoughts and how he knows her. Right before he was about to DIE, he thinks of Claire, a girl who he saved. Out of all the people he could think about, why did he think about her? Even if you take into account that the scene was supposed to relate to Peter's powers, the writers could have had him think of Nathan and then be able to fly before he hit the car. But no, his thoughts were on Claire, which says something to me. To add onto that, Peter had only one real conversation with Claire at this point - which was cut short - and already he feels that she's sweet. Yet, he notes her sad, little smile, which to me encompasses just about everything that Claire is. She's a girl who's bright and sunny, and yet so confused and torn about herself and who she is, and has had so much tragedy surround her. For Peter to be able to see through her smile and inside of her, and to see that she's really a sad person, is so amazing. This quote also makes me think exactly of what Claire made him feel - which we found out later, was that she made him feel like he was a part of something. That his life had a purpose. That he finally knew someone like him. It's beautiful.

What scene really made you realize that Peter and Claire have a special connection? (i.e. what made you a shipper?)
Hmm. I think something about this show is that all the characters are connected because they're looking for something, mainly who they are as people. I could tell that about Peter and Claire right away, but about them specifically I'd have to say their first meeting is probably when I became a shipper. The writers could have had them meet in so many ways - could have had them meet for the first time when she was running away from Sylar, fulfilling his "hero" role. But they set up their meeting different. Peter and Claire literally crashed into each other and talked about some pretty personal issues. Claire tells Peter in this scene that she doesn't think there's anything special about what "Jackie" did - not because she was jealous that Peter was looking at Jackie's photo, which a lot of people seem to think - but because she had never been able to tell anyone how she felt before. She considered herself a freak, not special at all despite saving a man's life, and she hadn't ever told anyone that. And she's not talking just about the fire incident - she's talking about herself in general. To a complete stranger, I might add. And Peter tells her differently, then as she's about to leave, tells her that things will get better for her later in life. Even through those words and her confession that she wasn't "popular", Peter was able to see Claire and felt the need to comfort her. The music, the looks exchanged, everything about that scene - was absolutely beautiful.
