Thanks for opening the new thread and for the great title, Natalie  We are so fast! There's no stopping us  I love Because being around Claire makes Peter think of his underwear, too, Michelle! You've come up with awesome titles, Natalie  We should definitely use that for the next title! Quote:

I was thinking about our unfairly-absent "Landslide" flying scene again
I know that Claire asks why they can't just fly out of NY but adds "in a plane" when Peter turns around to give her a look, but, seriously, why couldn't Peter fly them away? Especially once Ted is arrested, it would've be fairly easy for him to grab Claire into his arms, since practically all he does in this ep is grab her anyway , and fly them off to safety. I can understand it might have been difficult carrying both Ted and Claire, but Claire is petite, and carrying her alone shouldn't have been difficult as we've already seen Peter carry Claude (I think it was him) while flying. (Actually, now that I think about it some more, one of Peter's powers is telekinesis, so he could've lifted both Ted and Claire without even touching them, I think.)But I guess if they had flown we wouldn't have gotten the adorable Peter road rage scene and, perhaps more importantly plot-wise, Paire wouldn't have found out about Sylar's killing of Ted and they wouldn't be still be in New York for the big finale showdown. So we miss out on a potentially breath-taking Paire flying scene because of plot logistics...blah! __________________

God how I hated all the sciences at school - but I did them. I was more into english, art and psychology
bit of a dreamer me And that sure is what peter and claire have buckets of Jess chemistry and without even trying they got it __________________
