I disagree, Sam. I liked the fact that they brought back The X-Files, and Will & Grace seems to be doing well.


I think it was a mistake to remake MacGyver, Magnum P.I., and Dynasty, Dave. It's an insult to those shows. What's next, Miami Vice and Moonlighting?

I meant one that hasn't been on screen at all, Dave. Television or film.

And yeah, I think it's pretty lazy to have wings miraculously popping through clothes without tearing them.

how about Marvel's the Black Cat

in the cartoon spiderman series...she was Felicia Hardy exposed to a Super syrum by King Pin... and spiderman / black cat got to meet captain America in the Beyonder/ Madame Webb Arc

That's what also happened in the comics, Dave. Kingpin gave her a serum that gave her bad luck hex powers, but he did it for the purpose of getting at Spider-Man because over time her power would affect anyone she was involved with. Later on she lost her powers, but gained new ones that were more cat-like, such as retractable claws, night vision, and enhanced senses and reflexes. The other stuff you mentioned isn't from the comics, though.

Oh, I'd love to see that as well. But now while Peter is still a teenager in the movies because that's just wrong. I really wish they would stop making Peter a kid in these movies because he's been in his 20's in the comics for 40 years now.

Except in the comics, the Venom storyline happened when Peter was an adult, and after he and Mary Jane were already married.

What is the most annoying clone storyline you've seen on TV

No, MJ wasn't a clone. But Peter had one. The clone saga was frustrating as hell. The Jackal tricked Peter into thinking that he was the clone and that his clone was the real Peter Parker. Thank goodness that turned out to be false, but for a while that storyline made fans furious.

Hmmm... I can't remember any clone storylines recently, Dave. Just doppelganger storylines involving alternate reality versions of characters. I think anything with multiple Barry Allens.

Batman: Year One. I would've said The Killing Joke, but they botched the whole Bruce/Barbara storyline. I didn't mind them getting romantic, but they did it the wrong way.
