Truth: Nope, it was after Iron Man. Tony Stark had a cameo in the post credits scene, remember? Edward Norton was replaced by Mark Ruffalo in The Avengers due to creative differences between Norton and Marvel Studios.


Adam and Carol fire at and destroy the alien shape shifters while The Collector transports away, and Adam contacts Groot and Rocket Racoon to bring the ship around to pick them up.

I don't count post credit scenes...especially when it's a different actor outside of Mark/ Hulk

the Collector escapes...it's hard to catch that slimy worm...even with bait

Well, the point is that The Incredible Hulk was an MCU movie that came out during Phase I, right after Iron Man 2, so it does count. They even showed scenes from it in The Avengers when Nick Fury was showing Tony Stark what the Hulk had done in New York. Also, the Abomination is due to reappear in the MCU later on.


Adam and Carol pilot the Starhawk towards the Collector's home planet with Groot, Drax, and Rocket in tow. Gamora sits at the back of the ship, jealous of Carol.

Incredible hulk was forgettable.... I wrote it off my books...in fact...all of them were bad

Gamora hopes for any mission that Carol can do alone so she can be with Adam b/c frankly StarLord isn't good enough anymore - it was either him or the tree - so goes the joke

Gamora tells Carol that Adam is with her, and Carol tells her that she's not involved with Adam... but that she also tells her that Adam can make his own choices.
