I actually used to, Dave.

Before I worked in retail.

You'd be surprised how working in retail just ruins holidays for a person. It's ironic that working in a business that caters to the commercialization of holidays and providing people with their holiday supplies makes the holidays unbearable for those who work in that business.

yea... people who work in retail for numerous years don't like retail b/c they have to get up early or stay up late b/c stores are open longer

Yeah, and it takes away so much of your time that you don't get to enjoy the holidays anymore. And when you're spending all day at work around holiday stuff and having to constantly stock it and sell it, it kinds ruins it for you.

Yeah, but I don't shop there all that much. I was paying off student loans and credit card debt, and now I'm trying to save up money.

I was fortunate to have my disability state agency pay for college...otherwise I don't think I would have gone

Oh, man...

That's tough. But I'm glad you got to go to college. I flunked out after one semester, and my diploma from massage therapy school ended up being useless.

yea...massage is a science.... its not just "rub the body in certain places and hope he/ she feels relaxed " … and massage careers are not for everyone

Well, I found out the hard way that if you don't have a car, you really can't be in that profession.

I wish I had known that before I went to that school.

not too many massage clinics out there.... most professional massagers are private and have to depend on social media to advertise

FF seems fine now.

Yep, the nearest massage clinic was an 90 minute commute by bus, and that was just too long for me.

And my apartment isn't big enough to have clients come here, and you need a car to visit clients in their homes and I don't have a car.
