The writers impress me more and more each week, and I may be completely alone in this, but I think this was one of the best eps. of the season. It just felt so much like the first one.

Okay Hiro seriously had some damn good scenes, very strong ones at that. The writers finally made him the mature man we've wanted him to be, and it especially worked so, so well in this ep. He showed a lot of emotion especially concerning Charlie, and in some parts, I think we got the closest we've ever been to seeing bad ass, sword-carrying future Hiro. I could totally see the contradictions when he confronted his season 1 self. Not to mention, his face-off was Sylar was just perfect. And I agree, ZQ really brought it last night. Props to him, definitely

As for Samuel, i never thought I could love a character like him so much Trapping Hiro to bring him to the carnival and sending Charlie somewhere in time, was unexpected, exciting, and so well-written I can't wait for more of the Hiro/Samuel/Carnival storyline.

I thought the continuity was pretty solid last night to be quite honest. The only thing that did through me off a little was the HRG/Lauren thing. I didn't understand the purpose of adding that, but thankfully the writers came through for me at the end by letting happen exactly what I wanted to see happen

Lastly, and maybe it''s too soon for me to be saying this, but I feel the writers are slowly and steadily restoring my faith in them. Whenever I feel something's going to go wrong, they come out and surprise me. Can't wait for next week!!

On a side note, for those who haven't heard the wonderful news, the ratings have gone up again and have hit the 6 million mark! Fourth week in a row!! Hell yeah!
