I'm 1000% sure she isn't dead and I'm just surprised that HRG didn't realize that.

I mean Hiro couldn't use his powers, Claire was dead... um do you see a pattern?

Just like the Eclipse episode from Season 3.

EDIT Well after someone asked on Twitter how did Claire die/who is the Father? Kring said all will be revealed I promise! then of course came the Sylar/Claire comments, you know I think its interesting that Kring is keeping a tight lip on Peter than anyone else I could be wrong but what if just what if Peter really is the Father.

Well, it would appear that Tommy took Claire's power from her while she was in childbirth, although that also doesn't make sense because your power isn't supposed to manifest until you hit puberty. An infant like Tommy shouldn't have been able to absorb his mother's ability while in the womb.
