Even more reboots?

Make Them Laugh 02-26-2021 05:33 PM

well we know one thing to be certain ...nobody can ever do a reboot of Alex and Sarah of the Heroes Board...they are one of a kind :)

crash landing 02-26-2021 05:34 PM

Yes we are

Lazy day, Dave? :( Yeah, I guess it's gonna be that way until it gets warmer. March is kind of a weird month. It's technically Spring, but it's not gonna feel like it until April. Just two more days left until March.

I know, right? The DCEU and the MCU are really lazy. They don't even establish a continuity. WandaVision has already retconned the MCU, so I heard. Not that I mind, because I really don't like the idea of Steve Rogers as an old man, and I hated them cutting Hank and Janet out of the Avengers, and cutting Adam Warlock out of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Thanos storyline.

How are you doing, Sarah? :(

Awww, thanks Dave.  So are you.

Make Them Laugh 02-26-2021 05:38 PM

Please...no rebooting of Iron Man and Captain America.... let the new people have a chance @ Marvel:mad:

crash landing 02-26-2021 05:42 PM

Haven't seen WandaVison yet  so no idea what they've done

Been an alright day  went out twice for errands, some cleaning and lots of Disney+ watching :lmao:

PhoenixRising 02-26-2021 05:45 PM

I don't have Disney+, Sarah, I'm just relaying what I've heard.

I personally think that Disney+ and HBO Max are gonna oversaturate the comic book superhero market. :( It's just way too much all at once.

I would have no issues with recasting, Dave. I do not want Tony Stark dead, or Steve Rodgers as an old man, or Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne to never have their chance to be in the Avengers like they should be. :( The MCU was constructed as a result of a series of missteps that got pasted over like whiteout on typed font. They were really just making it up as they went along. The Ultron storyline was a travesty. Such a wasted effort.

As for the new people, once you get past the A list core heroes, you start to get into more and more obscure B and C list characters whose marketability would be questionable. I do think that Adam Warlock should've been given his chance a long time ago instead of Peter Quill.

I don't want recasting :bawl: just like don't want any for Wolverine

Wolverine I could be fine with years from now

Sarah, you know everyone gets recast. How many Spider-Mans have their been? As long as they do a good job I'm fine with it.

But man, I really wanted Adam Warlock in this story, and I cannot believe Feige let him just get forgotten.

crash landing 02-26-2021 05:48 PM

I know

It's just too soon imo to even consider recast

Make Them Laugh 02-26-2021 05:49 PM

agree with Sarah...there should only be one Wolverine...then let a female take over

PhoenixRising 02-26-2021 05:50 PM

Too soon? The MCU began in 2008, Sarah. :P

And we need a new thread. Dave, do you have a title and a thread ready?

No, not X-23, Dave. :bawl: I do not want Logan being retired by Hollywood.

Make Them Laugh 02-26-2021 05:51 PM

yes I do have a new thread in the frying pan

give one or 2 more posts here
