I just got done watching the Texas A&M/Mississippi game. Texas won.

I know that AMC was doing Halloween marathon believe never seen any of them though

Am watching Independence Day and got about 5 hours -- don't know if slept anymore between 6am and 8:30am though where may have

Oh cool I remember as a kid having it on Laser Disc

IFC also does horror films. Sundance also does them sometimes.

Independence Day? I saw that when it came out in 1996, but I wasn't impressed. I felt it ripped off way too many movies and TV shows but didn't really have anything original about it.

Battlestar Galactica(The Hand of God), V(the miniseries), War of the Worlds, Aliens, Star Wars, Earthquake, Meteor, etc. I could actually run off a list of stuff ID ripped off as I was watching it.

Yes My dad was always on top of new technology he got into DVD almost right away

I noticed it but don't really have anything to reply with I can understand that it probably ripped a lot off but grew up loving the movie all the same

Also think I have IFC just didn't notice what it was airing I just noticed AMC doing Halloween cause I know it can have movies on - so wanted to see what was airing today but they were doing Halloween marathon

my online harvest.org church service is over...now I'm watching Alabama game on CBS Primetime....also...LA won and its LA vs Atlanta Game 7...tomorrow or Monday

Okay, Sarah. Yes, AMC always does Halloween movie marathon during October, and they already did their Friday the 13th marathon earlier this month. The closer we get to Halloween is when they'll start doing the Halloween series marathon. IFC is doing a Friday the 13 marathon tonight.

Well, I wanted to like ID, but it ended up not doing it for me. I actually wish Starship Troopers has stuck closer to the novel because I think that could've been one of the greatest science fiction movies of the 1990s if it had been faithful to Robert Heinlein's work.

Yes, my vacation starts on October 29th, Dave. And I'll have off on election day too. I had to take off because Halloween is on a Saturday this year and I work weekends.

OMG, both series are now tied? Astros/Rays and Dodgers/Braves?

FRAK checking out On Demand and AMC has a bunch of horror movies available

Isn't Starship Troopers still a cult favorite anyways? I still enjoyed it but never read the book obviously
