OK...I'll be on later tomorrow

Well, mine still worked, but my battery was getting really old. Yeah, I should've replaced it, but again, the money issue. :( Damn student loans are a killer.

Okay, see you tomorrow, Dave1   Goodnight!

Well, I do hope that whatever RAS has planned for Fred, that it's respectful to Luke Perry. :( And I'm glad this is gonna play into Archie's story arc next season. I wonder if it has anything to do with that final scene? Or perhaps it'll have something to do with Gladys? Or maybe Hiram?

Yeah, it's okay. Like I said, you were right about the important stuff, like Chic being the GK and Falice's FBI son showing up. Yeah, I hope they don't mess him up either. I'm curious as to what storyline he's gonna get next season. Yeah, and you're right about Jughead's narration. We don't know how far into the future he's narrating stuff, although I assumed he was writing down his narration just a few days after the events themselves. And what do you think is gonna happen with Cheryl and her mom? I think they've both gone off the deep end.

Me too. :( We will just have to wait for S4 to find out. Well, seems RAS has revealed some about Charles storyline. If you want I can PM it to you. :) A Future-Jughead as the mastermind of RD is one of my favorite crack theories. You mean RD's Poison Ivy and her Daughter? :P

Hi, dragonfire!

Yeah, I know. I just hope whatever it is, it's good.

Yes, can you PM me? OMG, future Jughead as the mastermind of RD? :lmao: That would be about as silly as the finale of St. Elsewhere, where it turned out the entire hospital series was just an imaginary world inside the mind of this autistic kid who had a snow globe with a hospital inside of it. And yes, I can definitely see Penelope or Cheryl as Poison Ivy.

And here's the second, longer trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, featuring the final performance of Luke Perry. :(

I'm still sad about Luke Perry:(

Me too. Sure. :) You know I think there's a theory like that with Jughead. Definitely Penelope.  Thanks for posting that. :) :(

PhoenixRising 05-21-2019 05:09 PM

I am too, Dave. :(

Thanks, dragonfire. :) And you're welcome. Yeah, when I saw that trailer I was sad. :(

There's a theory that Jughead is imagining all of Riverdale?

No problem. :) Sorry to hear that. :( Yeah, I think it's like everything is all in his head, and the reality is like the Archie Comics. I know I hope RD doesn't end in a way as HIMYM did. Example Jughead dies, and Betty ends up with Archie.

I'd rather believe it's his imagination than real life, that's for sure

Hi, Rita! Yeah, but TV has already done that a few times. St. Elsewhere turned out to be some autistic kid's dream, and the 80s show Newhart ended up being a dream of Bob Newhart's character from The Bob Newhart Show from the 70s.

Hi, Dave!  I'm sorry it was cold where you are. :( Must be the lake effect, because it's unusual for it to be that cool in May. I hope you enjoyed the library. :)

Hi, dragonfire! Thanks for the PM. That's a lot of stuff to take in. But it makes me anxious for season 4. :) Ohh, that would be a cool twist. Jughead having some weird fantasy of Riverdale, perhaps after having watched Twin Peaks too many times.

Oh, I don't know if they'll do that. And I actually liked the HIMYM ending. :P

Make Them Laugh 05-22-2019 07:07 PM

thanks Alex...it warmed up a little after the moving on Wednesday

No problem. :) Me too. I think fans would hate that twist. I hope they don't do that. I know you did but I think a majority of fans didn't. :P

You're welcome, Dave. :) It got cloudy and rainy here, but the next few days should be good.

Hi, dragonfire! Yeah, I think fans would hate it as well. But Jughead waking up in the comic book version of Riverdale and telling Archie and the others about his film noir Riverdale dream would be cool. Of course, he and Betty wouldn't be together in that reality. ;) :P

Well, a majority of HIMYM fans stopped paying attention to the story that was actually being told around season 4. By the end of season 5 it should've been obvious how the story was gonna end, especially if you paid attention to the show during seasons 1, 2, and 3. ;) But I also agree that the writers screwed it up by not staying on point and keeping the audience's attention on their original intended ending. They kept straying off course into subplots that were meant as misdirection, but you can't keep doing that without undermining your planned ending.

Anyone planning on seeing Once Upon A Time In Hollywood or Dark Phoenix?
