Because she's not in the comics, dragonfire. And she's undermining the Steve/Sharon relationship. If Hollywood wants to tell their own story they can create their own characters. But if they're gonna use comics characters then they should stick to the comics.

But she kinda is, and it wasn't just her that caused that. Seems in WS the Russos wanted Widow as the female lead. Then when fans thought Sharon would get to shine in Cap 3 that all changed when it became Civil War/Avengers 2.5. Also in the MCU Steve's main relationships are like with Bucky, Peggy, and the Avengers. Ok, that's good to hear.

No, she isn't, dragonfire. Marvel Studios are the only ones who give a damn about Peggy Carter. Comic book fans could care less about her because they love Sharon Carter. And MCU fans obviously didn't care for the Agent Carter series, so who cares? She's forever trapped in the 1940s, so Steve can't be with her. No, dragonfire, Steve Rogers does not go back in time to the 1940s to be with Peggy in the comics, and that's a stupid thing to do. It's also stupid because the Super Soldier serum prevents him from aging, so he shouldn't have grown old at all. I just hope that one day Feige is gone and someone takes over the MCU who actually knows what he's doing.

Yep, I'm gonna try to catch Toy Story 4 when I can.

That's not true MCU Peggy is a fan favorite character. I think MCU fans did care for it, but S2 caused it to go downhill. It's not stupid it's a well deserved beautiful emotional satisfying happily ever after ending. I could be wrong but I think in the MCU the serum like slows down his aging not stop it. Ok.

How is Peggy a fan favorite, dragonfire? Her show got cancelled after two seasons.

I'm not saying the emotional part of the ending is stupid, I'm saying that Steve showing up an old man is stupid because he doesn't age, dragonfire. Super Solder keeps him young indefinitely. He could live for 500 years. And slowing down would still mean he'd outlive Peggy. Besides, the next guy who plays Steve Rogers will probably end up with Sharon Carter anyway, because the MCU can't remain static. These characters are timeless and have been in the comics for 50 years, so I cannot believe that they'd just end Steve's storyline like this and never tell his story again(or Tony's, for that matter. Or Hank and Janet's.)

I said MCU Peggy is a fan favorite, and I could be wrong but I think ABC canceled it so they could put Atwell in a modern show, and Marvel revealed something about AC being set in the 40s was expensive for the budget. Ok, but if the Mouse wants Steve to age into an old man, then he will age into an old man. Ironically I believe the Mouse can do that. Especially now that the Mouse owns the X-Men, F4, and of course Deadpool.

But they never did any series with Atwell, is the point, dragonfire. And it would be stupid for Marvel to never do another movie with Captain America. These characters have existed in the comics for 50 years. Do you think they're only gonna use them in movies for a couple of years that then retire them? And so what if the Mouse has X-Men and FF? What happens after the Mouse uses them up as well? Sooner or later we'll get a new Steve Rogers, a new Tony Stark, etc. That's inevitable. It all depends on when, not if.

ABC did, it was called Conviction but it got canceled as well. Also, I think AC was like a midseason show, and both seasons only had like 8 episodes. But does Disney/Marvel really need another Captain America movie with Steve as Cap? Also, haven't they already proven that they can come out with just about any Marvel character/movie, and it's a success?
