That's good Dave considering DCEU for the most part has been pretty heavy so its nice to see a lighter movie come from the franchise

Thanks for the Instagram link!
Ok, fair. I think it's possible. Maybe, but again didn't you think it was interesting that after Jughead told Gladys that later a chalice that had a G&G card&baby teeth inside the chalice got sent to him, and Archie&co? Then next FP found a dead body with no baby teeth, BGK carved on their back, and he found the dead body at the same place, and the same way Jughead found Dilton's dead body in 3x01. Maybe? No problem.

Hi, dragonfire! Well, Betty still has a chance to do better. Yes, I did notice that, and that scene with the baby teeth and that dead body out in the woods was damn creepy. It was like The Blair Witch Project, you know? Who was that dead body, anyway? So yeah, I do think there's enough to cast suspicion on Gladys. I still need more Varchie, though.

Hi, Sarah! That's all Zack Snyder's fault. He wanted to make the entire DCEU into his own dystopian homage to Frank Miller, and I'm glad WB fired him. I enjoy Frank Miller's stuff, but it only works for certain things, like Batman. Not every damn thing.

I agree with the critics as the movie paying homage to a classic movie called "Big" [Tom Hanks] and Stranger Things

8/10 for me... light hearted super hero movie wish some suspense and scary moments... but it brings out the kid inside all of us
I'm glad you enjoyed Shazam, Dave! Yeah, that's kind of the impression I got from the TV ads. Although it's also the way that Shazam was portrayed in Justice League: War, as well, if you'll recall. I've never seen Stranger Things, but I've heard that show is an homage to all things 80s, like Stand By Me, The Goonies, and the works of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, and Stephen King.

Agreed I prefer darkness and all which is why Batman along with Green Arrow are my favorites BUT at the same time there have been a lot of great movies that have a lighter tone

I know I know you've got your problems with MCU but they've done a great job with the lightness and the humor while still doing serious issues

Yep, from what I've seen, Stranger Things borrows from IT, along with some other stuff as well. Also some top secret government projects, which both Carpenter and King have done from time to time.

The dark tone only belongs in Batman, and he should've been younger. Superman needed a lighter tone and the story should've been based more on John Byrne's work. Wonder Woman should've been in WWII, not WWI. Seriously, Snyder has a WWI fetish.

I agree about the tone of the MCU, Sarah, but I do not like how they've disrespected and misrepresented their characters, Sarah. Mar-Vell at least deserved to be mentioned as Carol's boyfriend and the original Captain Marvel before he dies of cancer and passes the torch to her. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne more than deserved inclusion in the Avengers as Ant-Man and Wasp, and didn't deserve to be pushed aside because of Edgar ing Wright. Peter Parker shouldn't be a damn teenager at all, and they should've not only made him an adult living in Manhattan, he should've been involved with Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat. Hollywood has to knock it off with their teen Peter fetish. And Adam Warlock deserved to be introduced a lot earlier in the story so he could be the one to defeat Thanos, just like he did in the comics.

Thanks we are already in playoffs against Boston for the 2nd year in a row and 3rd time in the past 10 years of starting 1st round against them previous 2 they knocked us out in 7th game, so hoping for some sweet revenge

SV does need a lighter tone but I do still appreciate and respect what Zack did do

I hope otherwise that you enjoyed Wonder Woman even if it was the wrong WW

You're welcome. I hope you beat Boston because I'm from Philly and we hate the Bruins.

Nah, the only thing of Snyder's I liked was 300, but that's about it. I don't like his take on comic books.

Oh, I enjoyed Wonder Woman. But putting it in WWI didn't make sense because Kaiser Wilhelm wasn't a global threat the way Hitler was.

Yea we hate Bruins too

Agreed that Hitler is a greater threat obviously but using WW1 also was interesting related to development of the "gas" which was 1st WW wasn't it
