Hi, Dave! Awww, okay. I hope everything goes well with the caseworker. We'll miss you! Remember we can always cheer you up! And make sure you keep an eye on MasterChef and your bet with Lauren!

Add some Celine Dion's Titanic music and this could be one of the greatest love stories ever told.
Is forbiddenly even a word, dragonfire? Well, I guess it could be interesting. But I'm not that interested in Tom Holland anyway. I do like Daisy, though.

Hi, Lauren!

Gwen Stacy was one of the great loves of Peter's life in the comics, Lauren. And she died. And I don't know how I mod three boards either, Lauren. Sara mods four or five boards and I don't know how the hell she does that.

Michelle isn't in the comics, Lauren, so I don't like her. I prefer the actual characters from the comic book story, and the movies have already done Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, so I'd like to see Peter do a movie with Felicia Hardy/Black Cat or Silver Sable. Those were his female love interests in the 80's, when a lot of the best Spider-Man stories of all time were written. And no, I haven't seen Cloak and Dagger. I remember them from the 1980's, Lauren, and I wasn't interested in their comics back then either.

I wish we could get another season of Shadowhunters, Lauren, but I don't know what network would want it. Maybe SyFy Channel? I just wanted my Simon/Izzie ship already.

Thanks for the birthday OP, Lauren. Don't forget it's Arinna's birthday too.
I'm hoping that Midnight, Texas will be back this October so you can watch Francois on that show this fall. But you need to get caught up on season 1. Just like you need to get caught up on This Is Us and Westworld.

Well. it appeared in the Grammarly list. Sony is still using them for a spin-off movie.

It did?

Yeah, if Sony ever gets around to making that spin off movie. And how can it be a spin off if they haven't been in a Spider-Man movie? If they've put off the move then perhaps they're waiting until Tom Holland's Spider-Man is grown up and in his 20's so he can team up with Black Cat or Silver Sable. I still say they need to appear in a movie with Peter before you can spin them off on their own.

Yep. Well Venom is supposedly a spin-off, but so far it still seems like it has nothing do with MCU Spider-Man. According to the director they're still working on the script, and I think another reason why Sony removed it could be because they're waiting to see how Venom does before making any more spinoffs.

AT&T wins: Judge clears $85 billion bid for Time Warner with no conditions
U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon did not impose conditions on the merger's approval.
He also urged the government not to seek a stay when issuing his decision in a closed-door room with reporters.
Shares of Time Warner jumped roughly 5 percent in extended trading. Shares of AT&T dropped as much as 2 percent.

Hi, Dave! Nice to see you!

So does that mean your guys are doing well on MasterChef?

Yeah, but I don't think that Sony can make any successful movies outside of the MCU the way Fox can with X-Men, dragonfire. I think I discussed this with you before.

Crap, I heard that the AT&T buying Time/Warner thing was gonna go through. I hope this doesn't interfere with Disney acquiring Fox, because I don't want Comcast/Universal getting Fox and all their Marvel characters.

I think Jumanji 2 was a hit at the box office. It seems tomorrow Comcast will make their bid for Fox. So prepare for a bidding war between Disney&Comcast for Fox. Interesting.

While AT&T’s victory over the Justice Department means that Comcast now faces fewer regulatory issues in its pursuit of Fox, obstacles remain.

Oh, okay, Dave. So do you have any women favorites on MasterChef?

I meant successful MARVEL movies outside of the MCU, dragonfire. Jumanji has nothing to do with Marvel and it's a sequel to an already successful movie.

OMG, why are you torturing me with this? Screw Comcast! I just want Disney to get Fox so they can have all of Marvel's titles under one studio.

No, but Sony made it. But yeah it seems Sony's track record for Marvel movies is worse than Fox's. Shoot it seems their track record for non-Marvel movies is worse as well. Believe me, I'm not enjoying it. Yeah, let's hope Disney wins against Comcast, and the Disney&Fox deal gets approved by the Government.

It's a safe bet Alex... b/c woman have won the last 3 years...last time a guy won was 2014...the very first season I watched. Women are generally better home cooks, but sometimes don't do well in team challenges.

If a man wins...then no worries...I'll give this board 50 posts

Well, like I told you, dragonfire, you can't build a cinematic universe around one character, which is all Sony has. WB has the DC universe, Fox has the X-Men/Fantastic Four, which encompasses nearly half of Marvel's characters, and Disney/Marvel have everything else. All Sony has is Spider-Man and they can't compete like that. And OMG, I really hope that Disney gets Fox because I really don't want Marvel film rights to stay separated forever.

That's cool, Dave! Well, my dad was a pretty good cook, so maybe it depends on the situation. I guess that's why men are called chefs, huh?

50 posts would be great in any case.

yes Alex...especially if I win and Lauren has to give 50 posts to LoT

Also I think the word Chef implied [cooking for your employment]. Since a lot of women stayed home before the progressive womens' movement in the USA...it was men who worked in the kitchens in restaurants.

In reality TV...its about working/ performing under preassure that counts the most
