I think for 2 reasons. 1. Brad Bird didn't want to make another one unless he came up with a great story that wouldn't ruin the original one or something like that. 2. At the time Pixar rarely made sequels except for the Toy Story movies. And the look on Feige's face when Pascal said the Venom movie and Black Cat/Silver Sable movie is connected to the Marvel/Sony Spider-Man movies was hilarious.

I still think having Silver Sable and Black Cat be older than Peter is stupid, dragonfire. Felicia Hardy is one of Peter's classic girlfriends, and Sable was an alternate universe lover of Peter's in a What If? issue, and she's always had a thing for him in the regular continuity. I actually shipped them hard during the time after he broke up with Black Cat and before he married Mary Jane. Did you notice they both have white hair?

I still don't like the idea of Spider-Gwen being in the movies but Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman not being there. At least she's an original character and not a copycat.

After what Pascal said in that interview I'm now expecting Sony to announce Spider-Gwen in the Marvel/Sony Spider-Man sequel. Why? Because with Spider-Gwen being popular in the comics, I could totally see Sony wanting a piece of that pie. And fans been wanting a live-action Spider-Woman, and the irony is Sony owns Gwen Stacy and I think they own the Spider-Woman name as well so yeah I'm counting on Sony to do it.

Not quiet that good I'm afraid. The scene where she's talking to Steve (Chris) after she saved him from drowning, she is topless in it. Also, she's in lingerie in the scenes she's trying on "man'e world" clothes.
