I actually didn't mind Ben as Batman don't see how long they can keep it up cause it's an "Old!Man Bruce" but I was pleasantly surprised how well Ben pulled it off in BvS

Wisdom teeth removal yesterday had forgotten she said that - so she needed rest but feels betterish today

Thanks for that gif, dragonfire. But still, it doesn't make sense to me to have Bruce Wayne be middle aged before the Justice League even forms. Zack Snyder just did that to homage Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, but again, that's set in an alternate dystopian future where the Justice League had long disbanded and superheroes had been outlawed. It's out of context in Batman v Superman. Everyone in The Dark Knight Returns was old. James Gordon was retired and a young, female commissioner had taken over, Selina Kyle was a middle aged madam running an escort service, and Oliver Queen was old, bald, and missing his left arm. The only people who hadn't aged were The Flash(Barry's accelerated metabolism kept him young), Wonder Woman(none of the Amazons ever age on that island), Superman(for obvious reasons; Clark's a living solar battery who'll stay young as long as the sun shines), and Green Lantern(Hal Jordan left Earth behind and became a cosmic being who no longer needed a power ring). Ben Affleck won't be Batman forever, and Gal Gadot is just starting out and has a lot of years to her, so they'll eventually have to recast Batman with a younger actor, making the decision to cast Affleck as a middle aged Batman look silly in hindsight years from now.
