Hi everyone :wave:,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website. As we want every board to have their own unique look it is preferable that you do not link to the customisations of other boards as suggested colour schemes.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us :).

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes approximately two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have finished making the graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Oh wow what a surprise! I already love the way the board looks now so a whole lot doesn't need to change.

The characters that should be front in center are the characters already there: Peter, Claire, Hiro, Sylar and Noah.

Additional Characters would be: Matt Parkman... he actually appeared in every season as well as Heroes Reborn.

Since the cast is big, the rest of the characters is a wash. You can have them in or not.

I'd add Nathan since he was important.
Angela... I guess... since she also appeared in every season as well as the Heroes Reborn.

I love the Haitian.:rotfl: But he's not needed but I just had to add my love for him in.

Nikki... doesn't matter one way or the other....

So it's a tough choice but I think the main ones would be the 5 characters who are already on it.:nod:

Does anyone else wish to voice their opinion on which characters you'd like included? How about what colours you'd like to see here? :)

i agree with you tia about matt and nathan and also nikki or else it all gonna be guys :rotfl: angela a maybe i dont know why but mainly cant belive nathans not there i didnt realize haha

ok so looks like definately would love to add nathan nikki and matt hope we can do that :)

what do you think of some darker colors or something like that or we love this color cause its like eclipse? haha

So the characters you want included are Peter, Claire, Hiro, Sylar, Noah (#2), Matt, Nathan, & Niki? Possibly Angela?
You can have all 9 characters if you wish :)

I think we should have Angela as well. :nod: And should it be Nikki or Tracy?

I don't know that you can necessarily portray that in the graphic. There are very few usable promotional pictures for the character, & the latest one is the S2 one which I linked to. Unfortunately the season 3 promotional picture isn't usable. Being the same actress who plays both characters though the actress herself can represent both roles she played, even if she looks different (think of it as similar to how only one version of the OUAT characters appear in their graphic)

Ah, I see. :nod: It's a shame because Nikki died and Tracy survived and was probably featured in more episodes, but I guess she can represent both.

What specific colors would you guys like? Any color schemes in mind?
Lauren and Tia have mentioned the colors you guys have now. So something sort of similar to this? Or are you thinking about anything different? :)

If you can find a different promotional picture or even a usable HQ episode still of Tracy we can use a picture of her but since its the same actress I do feel that the Niki picture still works. Its a shame they didn't do promotional pictures for later seasons or another one for Tracy for the 3rd season :look:

i really cant choose about whether to include nikki or tracy, nikki seems so central to the story, the epicer seasons and tracy may have been in more and i love her too but i feel show was based on nikki more idk whatever u guys agree think is best

^ As previously mentioned, unless you've got a picture of Tracy, the Graphics Team has to use the picture of Niki. As it is the same actress who plays both characters she will have to represent both characters she played ;)

For those on the GT who are completely unfamiliar with the show, are there any characters who are more important or should be bigger than others? Should we just keep the order of importance the same as what you've got now? Then add everyone else smaller than them?

To help you out with your decision on colours Jac (ѕυρrємє ωιт¢н) has found this colour scheme which is similar to what you have now? May be too bright for what you're thinking though? I would recommend taking a look through the Design Seeds website to see if there is anything which you love :). You may be able to find something you like here or here (for those unfamiliar with the site when you get to the bottom of each page there's a link which says 'older posts' which will take you to more colour schemes ;)). I found this which is more brown tones if you wanted something slightly different & easier on the eyes? I also saw this which will give you some variation in colours here so its not all yellow/orange shades. I don't know the show but it seemed to fit to me based on the promotional pictures I've seen :shrug:

Please keep in mind that the sooner you decide on colours then the sooner the Graphics Team can begin working on the graphic for your board. If we don't hear anything from you we will presume that you just want similar colours as you've got now & work with those

Yeah, it'd be really helpful to know the level of importance/if anyone should be next to anyone because I don't know a single thing about this show except that they all have powers :goof: :flowers:

Peter, Claire, Hiro, Sylar, Noah, Matt, Nathan, Nikki, and Angela are the people that should be included, right? Any takes on who should be next to who, or can we put them together at random?
