There was tension before between them. I don't think we got why exactly Tyra hated Lyla, right? But yeah, I'm glad they became friends now as well.

I think it was because Tyra looked at Lyla as "the perfect girl" and saw it as kind of fake. Looked like they hinted at somerthing with Jason too, but that was never carried through.

Yeah.. we never really knew what happened... I don't know why, but I always thought they were friends and something happened along the way...

I have this strange idea where at some point they were all buddies

I wish they could have mentioned why or atleast hinted, so we could have a background on why Tyra hated Lyla. But as far as I remember, Lyla didn't seem to hate Tyra that much though, or maybe didn't show it. Anyway it's good that they are friends.

Yeah... we can't really know what happened... maybe Tyra just didn't like the whole attitude Lyla had and we keep trying to find something deeper in the whole thing

It did.

I felt like they were hinting at something with Jason/Tyra and some kind of history with Tyra/Lyla. But, who knows. Something they obviously decided not to expound on which kind of sucks. But, like I said, I mainly think Tyra looked at Lyla as not being real.

But yeah, we could see how dumb and superficial she thought Lyla was in the early episodes... I love it in the Pilot when Lyla's talking to the reporter and Tyra's all like "Oh yeah, it's so interesting, it's so damn interesting. Whore"

It did seem so intense. Well, I guess it could be many things, either spontaneous hatred, jealousy, grudge, not pleased with her lifestyle, hates cheerleaders, thinks she is fake..etc. Many possibilities, sucks that we didn't get much explaination but I guess we will keep guessing and never know until they mention it on the show

It's good they are friends now though.

It will probably never be mentioned ont he show again unfortunately. Unless we happen to get a Tyra/Lyla conversation where the past is brought up.
