I would of loved to have seen Tim's reaction to L/J being engaged. But it was like the writers swept T/L under the rug at that moment in time, they were still friends after all.

They weren't even really friends anymore, the scene in 110 is pretty much a goodbye for them. But they were still at the same school, same small town, we could've got more interaction than just Tim picking her for powderpuff. Even if it was just them looking at each other, some acknowledgment.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but the hopeful in me had to ask.

And I agree, it was almost like their time together hadn't even happened, like it hadn't affected them the way it really did. But I guess the point was they both tried to ignore it...her turning to the church and the holier-than-thou dude (Logan from Gilmore Girls

) and him turning back to his vices of alcohol and women.......but in the end, they couldn't deny that time they had together was the only honesty they'd experienced and they belonged together. Which is why I'm nervous about Season 4...

I think there's a scene wherein Tim was practicing with the other football players at Hermann Field, and the cheerleaders are also there practicing their routines at the sidelines. And there's this 5-second scene where Tim was just looking at Lyla from afar and then that's it. If I'm not mistaken, this was after Lyla & Jason got engaged, it's the latter part of season 1. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
