Just some random thoughts this week..LoL

First of all, this is the first week that I haven't been able to say "this was the best episode yet" but that's okay. It was still a great episode, just not my favorite.

Randomness:

-Matt dancing in the living room...made me love him even more LOL

-Matt needs to figure out who he wants LOL

-I don't like this whole Julie/Teacher relationship...

-I don't know what to say about Smash's storyline...I think he should do what he wants, but that's just me. I know everyone else is just looking out for him, though.

-The football playing dancing at Pantherama...LMAO I thought it was pretty funny that Landry was the only one with an undershirt on LOL

-The previews for the next episode... It's not going to be a nice episode I hate that we have to wait 2 weeks for it, but it's ok. My fall quarter of college will be over then *yay*

-Oh...and where was Jason this episode?

Not one of my favorite episodes. The episode seemed to be all over the place.

I like that we got to see more of Mama Smash. She is awesome and I agreed with everything she said.

I really don't understand why Tim left his own house. I don't know why he is acting like he was in love Jackie. It's so obvious that he is in love with Lyla. He was definitely overreacting, IMO.

Julie/Noah...... hmm. It's obvious that he is going to be a problem. I don't think he was crossing the line in this episode, but why would he even TRY to? He knows that both of her parents work at the school.

I really miss the shy!Matt of last season. Kissing Carlotta and Lauren..... not cool.

I am really glad that Tyra got to interact with different characters this episode. And no Jason in this episode....... fail.

Such a fun episode. Santiago broke my heart, Tyra/Lyla made me aw and laugh, Smash's scenes with his mom and Coach touched me and Julie's scenes with her teacher entertained and satisfied me (because we get to see her being a normal kid assuming it doesn't get physical).

Billy/Tim: Of course Billy is allowed to have his own life. But, I don't know why he thinks Tim should be cool with the whole thing. I don't blame Tim for being upset.

Tyra/Tim: These two have great chemistry so it was great seeing them interact again. Love how Tyra is always there for him.
Tyra telling Tim not to screw Mindy and then Tim asking how Landry is.

Austin Nichols Love him.

Smash: Great to see more of him! And I love Mama Smash. Very realistic. Lots to think about and a big decision. Mama is right to question him about things and get him thinking. No athlete...........especially a great one likes to think they won't make it pro or that they'll get injured. But, it's foolish not to look at the whole picture and have a backup plan. I know Smash is doing what he thinks is best for him and that he's also thinking of his family, but........I wish he would consider the things his mom his saying. Loved her going to the Coach. And I loved the Coach/Smash scene.

Santiago: Awww, I'm loving this kid. Great scene with Tami. And seeing him move in with Buddy..........broke my heart when he said it was the first real bed he ever had.

Buddy: I think it's sweet of him to step up and give Santiago a home. I love what he said to Tami. So cool seeing Santiago move in.

Tyra/Lyla:Tami putting them together was funny. She was hilarious in that scene. Them going into the men's locker room was so funny. And the rehearsal............good stuff.

Julie: Awww, I felt bad for her seeing Matt with a new girlfriend. Definitely tough. I kind of swore I wouldn't feel sorry for her after what she put Matt through, but I can't help it.
I liked the interactions with her teacher. But, of course I can see where this is going and I see why Tami would be concerned.
I liked seeing her get excited and involved with the paper.

Grandma Saracen is the cutest. Loved her being excited about Matt's car and wanting to take a ride.
And loved her saying how he got his moves from her.

It was a pretty good episode.I don't like the Julie/Noah relationship because of the Carlotta/Matt thing and we already saw Tim hooking up with the milf in Season 1.FNL really needs to stop this whole adult/teen relationship thing.Besides that, I really liked all of the Santiago scenes.He already becoming one of my favorite characters besides Matt(even though he's losing some cool points).I'm also starting to Buddy.It was good that he took Santiago in.

Yeah, I would say the same. And there was definitely almost too much going on.

The decision is Smash's and I don't think he should just do what his mom or anyone else wants him to. But, he is only looking at things from one perspective and that's dangerous. If he was at least really listening/hearing everyone out and exploring all options I would be ok with him making his decision. But, he just seems to have set his mind and that's it. Not good.

Love her!

Any way you put it Billy betrayed him. I don't think he was truly in love with her, but he did have feelings for her. The whole situation sucks and I don't blame him for being upset. But, I do think he needs to get over it and that he and Billy should work things out. But, in all honesty Billy should have been leading that and he has handled the whole thing suckily.

No Jason definitely sucked.

Julie/Noah: I'm giving this a chance. I could like this storyline. It's just that I see Julie getting a crush so I'm a bit worried.

Mel, he did betray Tim. No doubt about it, but look at Tim's history. Other than Lyla, he has never been really serious about a girl. He was always in it for the sex.

It's kinda late so I won't write much but just wanted to say this was a great episode. A light one but very good and funny

And I must say I was disappointed with Tim this week. After last week I thought we would see him working hard to get things together. But nope, still drinking, etc.

I liked Julie and Noah because she is a smart girl, he appreciates that and is validating her intellectual pursuits. They seemed to connect and it made sense. Matt/Carlotta was just.....ugh. She always has to have her hands all over him, first with the backrub, then the dancing and now the shoulder pat at breakfast. How does she expect him to react? And he's getting cocky, IMO. I don't like that he kissed her in front of Grandma and while he's dating someone else. If that shoulder pat was meant to be a sign that she's into it? Gross. Find someone your own age, NILF. At least Noah only offered Julie a sandwich and some advice when he saw her crying, not some soft-porn backrub like Carlotta did. I know they may cross that line but I hope not.

I feel like I'm betraying my Matt/Julie ship here, but I'm really digging the Julie/Noah SL. But maybe that's cause Austin's a hottie. And I kinda wanna see Matt jealous of him...even if he's a teacher.

Ummm...Adrianne's boobs are like a goddess's. LOL. In that scene with the boys in the locker room. Dayum.
