I just love the scenes between these two. The show has done a great job creating realistic and relateable relationships between characters. In another thread pennylane594 described the Matt/Landry friendship as "genuinely well-worn," and I think that that phrase is so appropriate. The characters and the actors play off of each other so well that I have no trouble believing their friendship.
While I'm digging a lot of the romantic pairings on FNL so far, I think that the real OTPs of the show so far are definitely Tim/Jason and Matt/Landry  |

i love matt and landry....it will be interesting to see what happens to them as Matt gets more into football and the spotlight! I love that at least one male character is not a football player, interesting to see the point of view he has in a town that is football crazy...
plus I love the dialogue these two have! __________________

Good point it is nice to see a male that isn't playing the game. I don't think Matt will ever ignore Landry. Just the way Matt is. Too sweet and loyal

lol, ok first i'm going to ask a stupid question ... what does OTP stand for? ... its probably obvious and my brain just isn't working at the moment
 secondly. i love the Matt/Landry friendship. tonight it was tested a little, and i'm glad that Landry is there to remind Matt of who he really is and that he shouldn't let this whole football thing suck him in and change him. i also love how Julie recognizes how close of friends they are. __________________

I think it means One True Pair. I just learned that the other day. I'm way behind on the internet lingo!
I love the Matt/Landry friendship. I really hope they stay good friends even though Matt is moving up in the ranks. |

Okay so I was proven a little wrong on the newest episode. So we all know the most TV shows will always go through cliche storylines, and yeah this was one of them. However I am glad that Landry stuck up for their other friend. Matt got a wake up call in this episode, and I love how Julie said : "Trouble in paradise"

i loved their interactions tonight. they crack me up when they are together. Landry finally talked Matt into getting a pair and asking Julie out. good for him.

I really like the friendship between these two. They really balance each other out. Yes, Landry does keep Matt in check and that's a good thing.
