He really did and just from the clips that we saw. I never thought JD was that better than Matt.

No, he was mainly just full of himself and got most of the playing time due to the influence of his dad.

JD was more hype than anything. I hate that he was brought in and took Matt's spot, during Matt's last season. Not one of my favorite s/ls.

Ugh tell me about it! There was so many times during my marathon of that season that I just wanted to SCREAM at the screen, at JD, his dad, even coach Taylor for letting it all happen. There's a reason why S1 is my favourite.

YES. It just made me so proud of him, and I loved how Coach hugged him and was so happy with how far they'd come.

Even when Coach saw Matt and Julie kissing, he didn't seem too perplexed by it. I thought he'd lay into Matt about it but he never did.
