He handled it well though. Though he really shouldn't have listened to Landry and Smash on the dating advice. Especially the Members Only jacket.

It kills me how Matt always listened to them. He would look at them like they're crazy yet follow their advice.

But Matt had nobody. He certainly wasn't going to ask his Grandma about anything to do with sex or dating and Tami was right out seeing as he was interested/liked her daughter. Like I said, it was pretty sad and in a sad way, not a pathetic way. |

I think that's why he's my favourite character - he's had to deal with so much, he had to grow up so fast but he always held his head high and never asked for anything. It's so admirable and inspiring. Coach saw it too and I love how he tried to make sure Matt knew he was proud of him and his hard work.
