Exactly. I think this two-week thing Jason's leaving for is a good opportunity for us to see more of Lyla by herself, and I hope we get that.

You really think that Lyla loves Jason and not Tim? No doubt she cares for Jason but it almost seems like she idolizes him... She's herself around Tim and I have a feeling that he is going to bring out the best in her and vice versa.

So true all. I am glad she finally got angry. I dont believe her dad is sincere and Im glad her Mom let it "slip" that he had other affairs. A hard fact to swallow for a young girl but it explains her Moms heartbreak, and actions better. Too bad she equates her "affair" to her Dads. Someone needs to tell Lyla she is just acting her age.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the mom was clued in at all, but obviously she was. And yes, it was a big shock to Lyla. I felt bad for her.

I don't know that Lyla does equate her cheating on Jason the same as her dad cheating her on mom.

I agree. I think on some level she does because she also cheated, but it's not the same. She's a 16/17 year old girl vs. an adult.

I'm really enjoying her growth/development this season. She started out as the girl who had it all and it has been taken away from her in just 3 months. The great thing about it is she will find out who she really is. And I can't wait.

Lyla's last scene was powerful. My friend and I were discussing how she destroyed the "scene of the crime" (Buddy's affairs with his secretaries).

That was such a powerful moment at the dealership and Minka did such an amazing job. I really felt for Lyla which is sometimes hard to do.

Aw, that's such a cute pic.

I don't think I mentione dit at the time of the episode, but I loved the little scene with Lyla looking after her little brother and sister, it was so adorable, but so heartbreaking at the same time, obviously.
