I've been reading around and there doesn't seem to be concerns what happened to Southland will happen to FNL right? So I guess we're lucky DTV is now picking up the tab for the show mostly. And for 2 years in a row.

It's really the little show that could. I just wanted to ask that there's no chance NBC will pull a Southland on FNL right?

It's a different instance in that DirecTV is footing most of the bill... Pretty much all of NBCs shows are sucking in the ratings, so FNL can come in and suck just as well as the others.

Shocking about Southland, though. They should have just let it go at the end of last season without giving them false hope.

Iron Claw was very happy to work with DirecTV on this year's promo for the new season. FNL is a critically aclaimed program showing exclusivley on DirecTV's Channel 101 Network.

The idea was to create a surreal world gesturing at the increasing division between characters and general dramatic mayem about to unfold. The actors were shot before green screen and all of the environments were created in CG. We were pleased to work with Ben Mor of RSA Films and Dariusz Wolski, DP on the 'Pirates' movies as well as Tim Burton's upcoming 'Alice in Wonderland.' From pre-vis through finishing everyone worked like a well oiled machine.

Big thanks to Tracy Bugh, creative director at DirecTV, for having such a cool vision of this spot and daring to go a bit more ethereal with it. And of course for bringing delicious cookies that Sean devoured singlehandedly one super late night working.

the people's choice noms came out - surprise surprise FNL was not nominated for anything - however you can fill in your own nominees for the categories.

So let's all bust our butts voting for the show and cast (fav drama/actor drama/actress drama/fav tv obsession)

I believe Taylor was nominated for a movie category - breakout star or something like that.

You can vote as a guest without having to register as well, which makes things easier.
