I think one of the reason Julie did give her Dad hell was because she was mad at him she felt abandoned even though it was her that did not want to leave Dillion i don't think she really new how hard it would be once her Dad did go .

I think Julie definitely felt abandoned when he left. I don't think she ever wanted him to go by himself, while her and Tami stayed in Dillon. She just wanted things to stay the same, because she felt adjusted and comfortable with how her life was going.

A change is always complicated. And Julie has a close relationship to her parents, so with Eric away she probably felt lost. It's funny, i think the same goes for most of the Panther guys. Eric is such a father figure, always guiding them and after he left all of them lost something.

in season 1 they had such a close relationship and when he left she was def hurt and now in season 2 they are getting back to that which is really important
They work so well together... I love eric

I think she never really saw how much her Dad wanted the job with an actual College and how hard he had workd for it. I don't think she really saw that, for her Dad, that could mean a once in a lifetime oportunity... he never really grasped that he might go and work in Texas and she would stay in Dillon with only her Mom...

Natasha I think you are so correct.
I think also that's why she started acting out. I am glad eric came home when he did otherwise I think the damage would have been even far worse then it was already.

Thanks Della, I agree with what you're saying also. It's normal for teenagers to rebel anyway, but I think with everything she felt the need to.

Natasha yes they tend to rebel.
Watching the episode where she did not even listen to Eric just broke my heart when she came in from work and he was on the couch and he was trying to talk to her and she just blew him off you could see the heart in both there eyes.

They were very painful to watch yes.
it is very hard for both parent and child I can see it both way's just because I have been in the position of my husband being gone and only seeing him on the weekends and such that was some yrs ago but it did impact my son a lot and he was only in like 4th grade so when they started showing her I was like I understand each side and it was hard to watch they did great it was like wow.
