Another amazing episode even if it was a little bit filler.

Buddy and I have had our differences but I loved that he told Eric about the mailbox/Luke. Definitely a risk on his part and from the looks of the preview it's going to come out.

I still want to kick Joe's butt as much as ever.........and slap that smug grin he always has off his face.

Luke Gotta say Matt did a great job in the scene where Tami confronts him about where he lives. Wowza. That scene practically had me in tears. I felt for him so much. And aww he apologized to Tami about lieing. Loving this kid already. Curious about his family. The scene between him and Tami on the field was one of my favorites of the episode. And I loved that he took his t-shirt off at the end to burn when they were on the field at the end with Coach.

I get some people maybe giving Landry a hard time about what he said to Coach but I understand it. Coach has always been someone he looks up to........an idol of sorts. He has never seen Eric quit. And though we as the audience know what it took for Eric to forfeit that game and why he did it, Landry doesn't. To him it felt like Coach quit on them which I can understand. And to the rest of the team..............forfeiting was the worst thing he could have done. Pride is all some of these kids feel they have. Alot of these kids probably have people in their life..........or should I say don't have people in their life that believe in them/don't quit on them. So yeah, I definitely understood everyone's reactions. I felt bad seeing Vince walk into school and seeing the Lions' signs trashed and white flags on the lockers, etc. I love that the show went there and showed the consequences of Eric's decision. In the end he saw how they saw it and I loved that he apologized and promised not to quit on them. I also loved how he reached Vince. There's a leader inside of him and it was great to see that Eric did reach him in some way as he got the guys to come together at the end of the episode. I look forward to more of Coach/Vince.

My possibly favorite scene of the whole episode was Coach/Riggins. That scene seriously had me giddy and teary. I wanted more than what we basically got in the preview, but I guess we'll be getting plenty of that in future episodes. But, gah, I just loved how Riggins offered to help and how happy Coach was about it.

Random scene at the gas pump, but I got a kick out of the whole inner pirate thing. The look on Eric's face was priceless.

Tim/Billy had me laughing as always...............especially Tim and his pass the violin comments.

I enjoyed seeing Jess in this episode even though we didn't learn a whole lot about her yet. I had to laugh at the whole Ray's BBQ scene between her, Landry, and her dad. Can't wait to see more of Steve Harris too!

Tami/Coach owned all their scene as always. Kyle and Connie again gave brilliant performances in all theier scenes.

Ummm..............Matt/art guy............not much to say on that right now, but I enjoyed the scenes we got.

I love this episode!

First of all I love all the new kids! Especially Vince and Luke, I think all of the new additions really fit the show and are doing a great job. I loved Luke in the scene with Tami on the field and then at the East Dillon practice at the end. Also, when Vince brought the team to the field for coach, great moment!

Tami was so great in this episode, the way she stood up to Joe McCoy with all the boosters there, that was a really smart move and I loved the way Connie did that. "So I got that going for me and wine" lol

I loved seeing coach with Matt and Tim in this episode. I always loved his relationship with both of them so it was nice to see that we are actually going to get scenes with them this season. Nice to see that Matt is still kind of nervous when coach talks to him lol. I am really looking forward to seeing Tim help coach the Lions with Eric. Now I need a scene with Matt and Tim together!

The argument scene between Tami and Eric was of course great, Connie and Kyle have the best chemistry.

One problem I have with this episode.... when did Coach learn Landry's name? I loved when he called him Lance I thought that was one of the funniest things ever that after 3 years he still didn't know the kids name but now he knows it and it's kind of upsetting to me lol.

Gotta love Buddy helping out his old friend Eric.

Overall I thought it was another amazing episode, I am absolutely loving this season so far!

Just watched it, and another great episode.

Billy/Tim still arguing, but how adorable and hilarious is Tim gesturing that he shot himself when Billy is complaining about everything he has going on? I know Billy is stressed but I feel he is being so hard on Tim, I wish they would talk about it and not stay that way.

I felt bad though seeing him sleeping in the truck out there. It sucks how many times he stays homeless while he does have a home.

Loved, loved, loved Eric/Tim scene. I was all giddy when their scene got on. I can't wait for Tim to help Eric. Also as short as it was, Eric/Matt scene was hilarious. LOL.

I love how Eric/Tami are this awesome couple, but they do argue and have different opinions and it's all played so well and realistically. I just hope Eric doesn't lie to Tami about something again, but that doesn't seem like the case next episode :/

I feel so bad for Eric, and was glad to see him finally having his team. Also big "You go, girl" for Tami for standing up to Joe & Co. I hated it when she got booed though.

Not enough Julie or MJ, but the car scene was cute. I love that she tags along with him during work. I'm glad Matt spoke out to that guy in the end and didn't just do that horrible work he got him doing. Matt deserves more than that.

Good thing I'm finding the new characters fun so far; Luke, Vince, Jess and Becky. I only hope Becky stops calling Tim "Tim Riggins", LOL.

Did I mention that I love the 1 minute promo we have for the upcoming episodes? Awesome. What's also awesome is the music playing in the background. Any idea what it is?

another fantastic ep!

i didn't think i'd like luke, but i do! i adore how humble he is, even though i feel terrible about him transferring teams. like, yea, he blew me away with his scene with tami!! and he burned his panthers tee shirt! loved that part!!

coach owns my heart forever and ever and ever! i mean, i get why the team was so prissy, but yea, they haven't earned the right to act as prideful as they did. it was one game, one mistake! and after coach has taken hit after hit after hit, he still manages to toss his pride out of the window and show up! don't get why the team couldn't find the balls to do the same for coach!!!

ok, the only thing that was missing from the special practice was tim! WHY WASN'T HE THERE?! that would have been perfect!!! <3

i'm telling you, becky is the shorter, darker twin of adrianne! i still don't like her, but i found her line drying her clothes endearing for some odd reason. and yea, i hope they limit the tim/becky screentime by like 1000%! if i couldn't have a tim/julie friendship, don't see why some random guest star gets one!

ok, wow!!! i really actually liked landry/jess, which again, i didn't think i would, but i do! crazy! and lol at vernon all, landry?! i don't even know what that meant, but it felt racial to me. i really adore steve harris though so, we'll see. jurnee was awesomely cast btw! i really like her character already. only, all we heard was a little ding and all of a sudden her bike is under landry's car. total fail right there.

matt and julie having breakfast together was amazing! with only five eps to go, i just know any semblance of a relationship is going to be tossed out of the window, so i'll take what i can get! and coach all yelling at matt that he'll get his paper! yea, as much as i love mj, i'd love it if julie actually had, you know, a storyline of her own. one that lasted from the beginning to the end of an ep! just ONE! i really thought julie and vince were going to bump into each other at school though. why couldn't that have happened? SIIIGH!

i love michael, i do, but he needs to stop scrunching his face in and trying to look all mad! he just looks constipated! and that scene his mother asked coach for money was painfully hard to watch. i mean, i get fnl is trying to do the whole poor thing, but that just felt like it was exploiting the issue at hand, which i hate when any show does, but i get it. still loving coach/vince though. and i looove that it was vince that helped coach and not landry! HAHAHA!

yea, tami owns at life! of course she'd show up at a boosters meeting and say, nanananana to joe!! really though, the opening scene where she's trying to clean up the front yard and she called coach babe was so cute! so was their ending scene! i guess the only real and lasting ship this show will ever have is et! it's all good though.

buddy, gas station guy and tim all supporting coach was love! of course tim is my favorite, but still, i'm glad they aren't leaving coach completely hopeless here. <3

I loved this episode too. I really liked how the process it took for the team to come together again was handled. I could understand both Coach's and the team's POV on the situation. I did sympathize more with Coach just because. But of course if I were on the team I wouldn't have been thrilled either so I get why the guys felt he quit on them. The scene at the field was awesome with the burning of the uniforms. And lol at Coach telling Tami he nees to figure out how he's going to get new ones now.

Count me in on loving Luke. I was expecting to like him, but I wasn't thinking I'd love him this soon, but I totally do. He was adorable being all apologetic to Tami about lying, and then burning his Panthers shirt. I can't wait to see him interact with the characters more.

I liked Jess too and her scenes with Landry. Don't know much about her yet, but I'm curious to learn more.

I loved this ep!

It was sad watching Coach struggle through this ep, but the practice at the end with the fire was soooo good. I love inspiring scenes like that.

Vince and Luke won me over. Vince is just so full of pride, I really enjoy that. And Luke is adorable. His scene with Tami almost made me want to cry.

I like Jess so far, and her interaction with Landry. Becky is getting there, but her scenes with Tim are still weirding me out.

I enjoyed the scenes with Matt and the artist. I think he might be able to help inspire him.

Poor Tami! I felt horrible for her being booed. I hate Joe McCoy, so freaking smug.

Just watched it, and another great eppy .
I thought it was interesting.
LandryJess I actually liked their scenes and wanna see more of them and by the way I'm not very welcoming of newbies in my shows so that's a big step for me
Tami and Eric were awesome like always and I love how at the end of the day they mange to just relax and be them
I love that Tami stood up for the right thing I admire this character for always doing that.Matt and Julie were barely there I didn't feel their characters.
Joe McCoy counties to be the devil lol.

Anyway looking forward for next week .

I think they added it in because the gas station guy is actually the real coach for Texas Tech

Yeah the Pirate guy at the gas station was Mike Leach coach of Texas Tech...he has an obsession with pirates. I thought it was clever though I think it went over a lot of peoples heads who aren't all that familiar with college football, or even if they are aren't familiar with Leach and his eccentricities.

I liked the gas station scene just because I thought the guy was going to start giving Eric a hard time for that first game. But no, he just loves pirates. Well played, show.

And going on about the violin.

Coach has been corrected enough times that I think he knew Landry's name, he just chose to keep calling him Lance. Landry wasn't important enough to have his real name used. This time he went to Landry as the only person left playing for him that he had familiarity with, he used Landry's name as a show of respect. I swear I heard him begin to revert to Lance in frustration after Landry walked away.

Yes, I'm too lazy to write out my own thoughts this time, so I'll just agree with what everyone else has already said. But holy frick, now I want BBQ. There, that one was all me.
