Landry at the school at lunch. Coach wants to talk to him. Landry asks why he forfeited the game. Coach says he doesnt have to explain his decisions. Landry says he just quit on them and that everyone is done.

Coach a the field with Luke, asking him where he lives. He lies, she knows hes lying. She tells him he lives in a place where he needs to go to east dillon. He says he doesnt want to leave because theres no team over there. She says the only thing he can do is move. He says hell get an A in every class. Hes crying now. She feels bad for him. She asks him if he needs anything, he says thank you and she goes to leave. He calls her back. He says sorry for lying to her. Goes back to the field.

Billy asks Tim why a part hasnt come yet. Tim says he doesnt know. Tim asks when hell get paid. Billy says he doesnt know and starts yelling at Tim about all the stuff he has to deal with. Tim is clearly annoyed. They have a small tiff. Billy gets a call, he have to go tow some car, he gives Tim the slip to do so.

Assy coach comes up to Tami and asks her to be reasonable about the Luke thing. She asks if they are trying to bribe her. The coach says her job depends on it. He starts threatening her, basically saying they are gonna dig stuff up on the coach.

Tim goes to the house, and that stupid annoying chick with the short hair comes outside. She lied about the tow, she needs a ride. He says "dont ever do this again" and drives away.

Matt in the car with Julie comlaining about not doing anything all day and how the guy never asked him about the art. Julie says he probably doesnt think matt is a good artist cuz he goes to community college. Julie tells him to stand out more.

coach goes to some house. a women opens the dar, its vinces (is his name vince or vik? lmao) she looks drugged out or drunk. He wants to talk to vince . She asks if he has twenty bucks and he gives it to her. (wtf??) She tells him the street adress to where he is.

Coach at a gas station now. Some guy asking him about football. Trying to tell him what do and that things happen for a reaosn and that god wants it that way. The coach looking at him like hes a joke.

Next day, Julie slicing a cucumber. Coach comes in. Tami asks him if he knew there was a mailbox out in front of the empty field. The field that Luke gave the address of to cheat to stay on the team. McCoy basically said that the mailbox has been there since Coach was the coach. IE the coach put it there. THey are fighting about it, coach doesnt like being accused of it.

Coach goes to some park, he sees vince and some other guys playing basketball. He wants to talk to Vince. Vince ignores him. Coach says hes making a mistake. Hes throwing his talent away. Coach walks off saying his his choice. Vince watches him leave.

Matt with the artist guy. Guy tells him to get back to work.

Now they are showing ths new Jess girl at work. Shes a waitress. Landry is there in one of the booths. Hes watching her work. She drops something and L says hes got it. Her boss asks him what hes doing. He says hes just helping her out.

Coach says hes gonna put practice on saturday night and if it doesnt work, then they have to start over. The other coach doesnt know what he means. Coach goes out to the field and just looks around. Tim Riggins sees him standing outside and walks up to him. He says "coach." Coach turns around and asks him why hes not in college. Tim says hes working full time with his brother. Tim says he looks different, coach says its the color, red. Tim says he heard about the team and the forfeir and offers the help the coach in any way. Coach says "come with me."

Coach McCoy talkng with the guys. Tami comes in and says hello, sorry to interrupt. She asks to talk to Joe alone. She drops the ball in front of everyone about how he claimed to investigate the title and she talks about how there are things that will be taken away. She says shes been clear on where she stands and Luke is going to East Dillon. Joe looks miffed.

Matt working. He cut his hand. He says hes gonna go. The guy asks him what his problem is. Matt rants about how hes there because hes an artist. He asks him to say something. The artist goes through his art and starts ripping it up. HE picks a piece and says "this part hair doesnt make me want to puke". LOL.

coach in his office. Vince shows up and drops the money coach gave his mom on the desk. He says he supports his family. Coach tells him to sit. Vince sits. Coach says hes sorry. Tells him not to quite on him or himself. He wnats Vince to help him put the team back together. He tells hm about the practice at ten and tells him to talk to the guys. Vince leaves.

School assembly at West Dillon. Coach welcomes everyone and the audience starts booing her. They start chanting "we want Luke" and McCoy is smiling. Sat night. Coach on the field alone. Luke comes up and says hello, that hes Luke. (awww, cute guy.) He says hes there for the special practice. Asks where the team is. Coach doesnt say anything. Then the team shows up with Vince in the lead and Landry next to him. The coach apologizes to the team for not letting them finish the game. Theres a fire pit on the field. He lights it. He pulls out these tapes and says "this is the past" and throws them into the fire. Asks who wants to finish the fight with him. Vince steps up and throws a jersey into the fire. Then Landry steps up and does the same. Then another guy. And then Luke takes off his west dillon jersey and throws it in as well.

Tim at the bar. The same women he slept with last episode goes and talks to him. Tim says hes looking for a place. She tells him she has a trailer in her back yard and shell charge him a 100 dollars a month. He says thats sweet. She says she knows hes not interested in her, shes not gonna go banging on his door in the middle of the night or anything, she just needs the cash. He agrees.

Tim shows up at their house. The chick says hey to him. He has his bags and he walks past her to the trailer.

Tami watching tv, turns it off. Coach comes in and asks what shes doing. She says thinking. She tells him she got booed at the pep rally. Tells him she got satisfaction over standing up to them. Asked him how his day was. He says they showed up, and its a start. They kiss. He says hes sorry he lied. End.

previews:

Looks like the pricipal telling Coach "i dont think you understand the financial situation." He says "if you dont turn around, we might shut it down." Coach asks him what he means by that, hes gonna shut down the football program?

Artist guy says "who the hell are you little girl?" and julie says shes Julie, Matts girlfriend. He says "so you're the ball and chain that keeps dragging him down."

McCoy says "anything you feel like sharing with us, Buddy? Anything about an old mailbox or a certain friend of yours named Eric Taylor?"

Coach on the field yelling at Vince.

Tim working with Luke in the locker room, saying he has to give the team a chance. Luke says "this team is not the dillon panthers."

Coach talking to some guy about his financial problems.

Vince talking about Luke taking over the team. Braid guy says white men only look out for white men and that they gotta be there for each other.

Jessie with Landry in the field flirting

Tami and the Coach arguing, shes mad at him for writing a check for money they dont have.

Didn't like this episode. It was pretty 'meh' for me. The only scene I really liked was Coach and Riggs.

There was a lot, lot, lot, lot going on in this episode... maybe a bit too much and that's probably what's going to turn some people off. I'm sure this will settle down once we are better acquainted with everyone and they get all the stories set up.

I really liked the episode overall, not as much as last week, but it was a solid episode and there were some awesome scenes.

Tim/Billy are still hilarious. I loved Billy's rant about Mindy reading all of these pregnancy books and thinking she's having the baby every time she farts!

And then Tim asking him to quit hogging the violin. So, Tim is living in a tiny trailer behind Becky and her mom... we'll see how that goes...

Matt/Random art guy - This felt like a whole different show... it's probably hard for them to incorporate Matt back into all of the new people... but that art guy was DISGUSTING! LOL... I seriously dry heaved when he opened the door in his dirty underwear.

Jess: She seems fierce... I already like her dad... and she seems like a great actress. Will take some time to get to know her, though.

Vince: I like him. He's the silent but lethal type and it will be interesting to see if he rises to his talent.

Luke: I really like this kid... He's super cute and I love that even though he's upset about the situation, he's still all about being all gentlemanly and apologizing like crazy to Tami for lying to her. I think I need to give him a hug.

Coach: Another solid performance by Kyle. I liked that they let him deal with the repercussions of his forfeit and that things weren't all just hunky dory at the first of the episode... poor guy. Good to know that he's finally learned Landry's correct name, though... or maybe they just did that because the scene was so serious.

Tami: Tami 4 President! I loved her sticking it to Joe and Wade in front of the Boosters. LMAO! I also wanted to hug her when she was getting booed at the pep rally... poor Tami. The fight in the kitchen between Eric and Tami was intense... probably their most intense fight ever, so I'm super glad they put that last adorable scene in where they were talking about their days on the couch with wine!

I'm doing a Gracie Belle count... she's been in 2/2 episodes... cute seeing Matt and Julie feeding her in the morning while Tami was out taking the quitter signs off the yard.
