Sdly it will, well for MD it will, i think EP and PD are planing to leave at the same time, they know how much MD means to the fans and they wont wreak that

Yes, that would be the best thing for GA is for Ellen & Patrick as MD to leave together or something like that if the show were to continue on without them.

I hope it doesn't, I'd like for the show to just end and not continue on with no MD because I don't think the show would survive without them. It definitely wouldn't be the same. Just end with Patty & Ellen after 7 years. That sounds good!

perhaps she's afraid that it will be like ER? Who pretty much went downwards after the 7th/8th season or so.. according to a lot of people.

I agree wiht her that she wants to get out of it before it goes downhill, i mean it may not but i think every show runs out of ideas after a few years so i'd want to get out too whyile it was still good and people still loved it

i'd certainly hope GA is the Friends number 2, but i guess you are right.
