Tour De France Veterans To Participate In Dempsey Challenge

Lewiston, Maine - Professional cyclist and four-time Tour De France competitor Chris Horner said he will take part in this year's Dempsey Challenge in Lewiston.

Horner is currently riding on Lance Armstrong's team in the Tour de France and is in 25th place overall.

Horner will join 14-time Tour de France veteran George Hincapie in the second annual fundraiser for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer, Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center.

Running and biking events span the two-day October event.
