Bea I don't think the producers/writers cut DA scene because they have a great chemistry. If DA are better than MD, the writers changed the storyline. You saw DC and the writers preferred the chemistry between PJ and they changed the storyline.

Kate said that Patrick was frustrating etc. Sorry but I don't believe in her words.
Patrick is a MD shipper.

Sorry guys for my comments but I didn't appreciate Kate's words because all people love Addison, they saw her like the victim. She's an interesting character but I don't think the producers cut her scenes with Patrick because they have an amazing chemistry etc. If this is true (DA better than MD) I think Shonda changed the storyline and she wrote a new love interest for Meredith, maybe Mark. Meredith and McSteamy weren't bad together.

though it doesn't seem to me that they would cut those scenes because they're filled with chemistry. If people have chemistry they should have it in all of their scenes and not just in the cut scenes

I'm just pointing out what the article says, and it says that it was the producers who did it. Is not Kate saying 'I have more chemistry with Patrick than Ellen, so our scenes had to be deleted', or anything. It's clear in the article. Just saying. As I commented in another thread, yes, chemistry is subjective. To me, as you all know Patrick/Ellen (aka Mer/Der) have more chemistry hands down. And I will be sorry if the producers think any other way. Mostly if that makes them change things around as it happened in DC But I think TPTB in this show are way smarter than TIIC at DC, so I highly doubt that it ever happens

I don't think Patrick is so frustrated.... (I read into her words).
It's evident, the journalist who wrote this article is an Addison's fan: A. is amazing, M. is miserable.

I talked about DC because in that show the writers changed the storyline. All is possible in a tv show but I don't think they cut DA scenes for the chemistry.

This is my opinion. I haven't problems with Kate. She deserves the publicity, but I don't like this type of article.

OK, we were talking about different things then. I thought you said Kate was saying she and Patrick have more chemistry, which she hasn't said at all. The part you quoted only states that they had fun together and wanted their scenes to stay in the episodes, what is totally fine and I don't see any problem with.

I guess that she has a point in 'complaining' in the sense that in all the A/D scenes they were indeed miserables, but that was the point, so we could see that their marriage wasn't working. But yeah, as an actor it must be frustrating that they cut your scenes, whatever the reasons, since I assume they all are a lot of work.

That the journalist is pro Addison/Kate is obvious, I already mentioned it over the GA's forum or somewhere that I can't remember right now. Too many forums, LOL.

Totally. She's a big Addison's shipper but she could write a good article about Addison without to bash Meredith etc

Yeah i wish a pro addison article could be pro meredith as well.

i however think that sometimes kate embelishes on the amount of fun i guess she has with patrick, crap im talking like i own him, lol but you see he never talks~he's all about ellen/meredith, about her its only kate thats saying this so i cant take it if its true cause i havent heard pd side of the story, im not saying he hates working with kate but he never talks about her and thats his choice!!
