thanks for starting this. i had to laugh when i read, "two hour event." i doubt that was the desired effect from shonda. i watched the longer commercial, hoping it would do something for me, and sadly it didn't. i thought, if addison wanting to get pregnant was supposed to be dramatic, they may have to try again.

onto the hour i will watch. i can't wait. with all the pics, i'm really excited for the last couple of episodes.

oh no no. leave it. that is how they've been promoting it, so leave it. hell you could have said like the commercial "the show everyone's been talking about" lol

and where the heck did she get that idea from all of a sudden?! It's never been alluded to.

I loved seeing Derek back in surgery last week, so happy he's doing some surgery on Ava!!

The addison baby storyline that definatly came out of left field!!

I wonder if there is any importance to derek doing the surgery knowning shonda there probably is!!

Shonda always writes big/important merder scenes in her episodes and seeing as this is her last episode of the season, i expect one, lol!!

I was kind of surprised that she didn't write the finale.. Often show creators write the finale for their show..
Then again, i suppose a lot of time went up with writing the spinoff and these two eps.. assuming she wrote both of them?! or did she ony write nr. 2?

lots of addison moments came out of left field this year. they botched her thing last week, just to send her arse to la. so, i wish i could say, i expect things to make much sense. i already know, no reason for her leaving would fly with me.

derek leaving NY made sense. addison leaving because a couple of guys she had a thing for didnt work out, makes zero sense. so, her wanting a baby, falls right in line with the WTF, moments for her.

i thought shonda wrote the first one. i'd assumer her hands would be in the first couple of epis, but who knows?

I agree many addison scenes haven't made that much sense at all!!

I thought Shonda wrote all of the episode, all two hours cause on the press release under who wrote it all it has was shonda's name? Press release for this episode:

to say i'm pissed off is an understatement. they did a horrible job tonight with time management. i think we got, maybe 25 minutes of grey's stuff, in 2 hours. i can't believe they forced that show on us. why didn't they just split the hours up?

i'm really pissed, that grey's would have probably been a really good episode, had we got more than 1 minute scenes at a time. it was hard to connect with them jumping back to la.

so, addison never talked about her friends or la, but had a ready made life waiting? she can just start practing medicine right away? they had endless scenes of peole we didnt know without addison. this might have been the worst sell of a spinoff i remember seeing.

i don't know what to say about the actual show. IW, had a strong night. i loved the scene with preston and george, i miss them. christina had a couple of funny seconds, i suppose. i dug the little bit of george and izzie, and i really liked the little bit of mer/der. i quite enjoyed the mark/derek scene. i was waiting for that for awhile. callie as a bridesmaid was contrived as hell. the last der/thatcher scene was very touching. it played how i thought it would. nothing to say about the slap. i don't have it in me, with such a poorly put together 2 hours, to read into derek looking at mer through the window. WHATEVER!!

so, if it were a grey's show it would have been good. but, i coudlnt' fully invest because they wouldnt let any scenes flow. worst line, and mabye the only line i listened to during the addison bit was him kissing her with tongue.

a waste of two hours. a ridiculous start to sweeps. my friend said the most disappointing grey's ever. after the previews all i could think was i'm ready for this season to be over. oh and its safe to say, i won't be watching that spinoff, should it get picked up.

Ahh the spin off where did you go wrong, lol. No i dont see the episodes till like a day after but i read pretty detailed racaps as the showed aired and wow it was a suck fest!!

And i really think it was worse because they kept on intercutting with what LITTLE greys we got which pissed me off!! And was really a pointless story!!

I felt nothing for the characters, with greys on the first episode i was hooked on everything i was hooked on nothin really for the spin off!!

A TALKING elevator are they serious!!

A 2 yr old boy walking through his place of work with a surfboard and barely clothed wow, i mean greys maybe unproffesional but wow not as unproffesional as this darn work place!!

And i guess addison was the one who hasn't needed birth control for ever, i guess what comes around goes around with thw whole abortion thing!

So this show was a major suckfest really except for the greys cause the greys was great, the little of it that we got that is!
