In the new podcast, Shonda and Betsy said that Addek aren't over. Sincerly if they will reopen Addek romance I don't know if I will see this show again.
Third wheels aren't the only drama.

Of course their not over their gonna be connected still they have to be they work together. I think their relationship is going to be puerly proffessional and maybe later on friendship which would be nice! Im not worried!

For mer/der to work mer needs to get past 'dark and twisty mer' and she is doing this cause in a new description for episode 8, 9 or 10 it says mer is trying to have a more positive outlook on life which can translate into a positive outlook on her relationship with derek. For mer/der to work derek needs to get past addison's crap well the crap she put on him and he is doing this cause the same description from where that positive outlook mer description came from it says derek and addison try to be civil..if derek wasnt over it for the large part he wouldn't be trying to be civil with addison. So the fact that mer/der are getting over their subsequent issues means that they can work when they come back together!

Everybody thinks now that their finally getting the idea that fans arent happy with the way things are going, just cause their the No#1 doesn't mean they get to continue pulling this crap with everyones storylines especially mer/der The blog for last episode was probably more filled with negative comments then positive once comments were like 'great episode but stop pulling this crap'.

I have more chance of becoming the first female president of America the addison do becoming a couple again, of course i might be wrong but hell if shonda keeps going like this she will lose her show and addek getting together again well thats just the nail in the coffin. Cause if mer/der's aren't happy, and they make up quite a large bit of the fan base, people will turn off its a fact unsatisfied people turn off shows they aren't satified with!

I hope you're right. A friends/co-workers thing wouldn't bother me, but if they hook them up or something I don't think I could watch this show anymore. I mean, I love the whole show and all, but an Addek hookup or reunion wouldn't make any sense to me. Especially after all that happened in the past.

Professional relationship isn't the romance. Usually when Shonda says that a couple aren't over she talks about the romance.

MD couple has a large fanbase, many of them are tired. Shonda must decide, and then the fans will choose if to see GA again or not.
I love her, she's a great writer but, at this point, if MD are over, the fans deserve to know this.
MDA triangle is boring and now it annoying me so much.

If they hook up again I will be done with this show for good. I also will never watch another show Shonda makes as I will no longer trust her. I went through this before with my favorite couple on ER and I sure as hell am not going through that again.

Guys, this isn't a thread to bash Addison/Derek or Shonda's decisions or whatever. Anything that has to do with that is just unnecessary to mention and doesn't relate to what this thread is for.

I think we have to see this in a non-romantic way.. There's still Addek, both in a professionally and in a personal way IMO
I think she's talking a bit more about their history and their current relationship, how they'll deal.. I just think that she meant that they may have signed those divorce papers, but it doesn't close all doors, just 1.
and it will be interesting for Meredith as well, as to how to deal with the situation that your boyfriend's ex is still in a way connected to him. There weren't any issues in the last episode, but with this new information I'm sure it will have some effect on Meredith's point of view as well.

I think Shonda made this decision from day 1 and she's made it very clear that she's excited about Mer/Der, I have no worries to be honest about that..

Perhaps in like 4/5 seasons or so, if the marriage of subject would be brought up then I'd be okay, espcially considering the timeline we're having on Grey's..

I'm happy it's no summer hiatus, that one took long enough already, but one week is already hard enough... Though November sweeps are kicking in now, those are usually the most eventful episodes!

I think Lis meant also to be a bit more respectful about Shonda, Derek and Addison..
