Mark (to Meredith): "Maybe you two aren’t meant to be together. Look, Derek, on the outside he holds it all together but ---he’s damaged goods, Meredith. It’s my fault, I damaged him, maybe forever. Do you really wanna drink from a poisoned well, Meredith?"

- Cristina: "You like McSteamy?"
- Meredith: "Yes. I mean, no…no, not like that. Just---you know, he think I’m better off without Derek’s baggage he thinks that there’s too much history there. But maybe in his own sick twisted way, he’s just trying to protect me".

Despite Mark's attempt at hitting on Mer, I liked their scenes.. It was fun to watch.

I don't think that Mark protects him. It was funny scenes but I don't really like his reaction. He knows Derek loves Meredith and he flirts with her...

The last scene between Meredith and Derek is wonderful!! I was just a little scared when Meredith looks at Mark... but the kiss is so cute

Wasn't Mark's best move if he wants to be friends with Derek again.
