I don't think it'd matter. Why would it? It's not like them working at the same hospital is what's keeping them together, so I don't see why it'd be a problem.

now that i threw it out there, i like the idea of their season ending story being about him getting offered a position, in another hospital. now that i've said it, it won't happen. but i think tha would be good.

well lis, in my scenario i thought it would be a hospital perhaps back in ny. i'm not so certain i know what merideth's reaction would be to him leaving seattle grace, or his thinking about leaving seattle grace.

hmmm, i wonder, i wonder i wonder. i would have to see how things go from now until the end. i could see him saying no and maybe see her encouraging him to consider it.

but if, big if, he really felt under appreciated, i don't know that he wouldn't consider it. i guess with this scenario i could see it unfolding a couple of different ways.

i think it's a safe bet he wouldn't. not that i'd put it past shonda to go there for a couple of episodes, but i think the safer bet is he'd stay put.

Yeah, I can see it for a few episodes, but I think ultimately it wouldn't happen.

to me, that is the most viable threat for them, someone physically leaving. i could be way off base and there is nothing really planned for them for the season's end, but i'm guessing they would have something to deal with.

obviously a medical crisis works, but i feel like we've had our fill of that for a bit. i think we all know they are currently the happiest they've been together, so i'm open for something to kind of knock them around a little bit.
