oh karen i'm not spilling all. but i do think whatever he yells at her for has something to do with the last five minutes, for him. and i do think a proposal may happen. but we shall see. and i'm not saying i'm for or against a proposal, but it could.

karen, it's not jut that he pointed it out. how merideth deals with her issues, in his eyes, could be a major problem. he could even have in his mind, well if we break up or take a break will she sleep around. and as much as i loved the whore scene, that was all in anger, and i think if her and men ever come up again, it has to be about him truly trying to understand her, or her trying to undersand herself. it can be about judging.

but thy did say they would deal with their issues and trust seems to be the big one, but i think her sleeping around might fall under the trust issue. and obviously him not choosing her is under there too.

I seriously can't picture a proposal.
I think they'll mostly focus on the Chief position and how Derek seems to be devestated that Burke was asked for that position.

I get that, but I just don't like the idea that they're bringing past relationships into their new relationship. Nor can I think of a good point as to why it should be brought up. Maybe the writers can but right now I just can't. and I simply don't like the idea

oh i respect your opinion, but that is life. people talk about past relationships. but you're not getting what i'm saying. it's not so much the relationships it's how merideth deals with problems. THAT is the issue. it just so happens men seems to be the way she has dealt with thing. if she went and got high or drunk when she had problems, i'd expect that would be something she'd need to address too.

so i'm not saying they need to discuss past relationships, but if her daddy issues means she has unhealthy patterns with men, then yes that is something that needs to be addressed.

and i'm sure lots of people don't see a proposal. in my scenario it makes sense. i didn't get that he was devastated, lol. but i did get that he was upset. but i'll say this, he may not have control over his professional life, but he sure can be proactive about his personal life. it will be a good one to watch.

I get that they talk about past relationships, and it may be necessary in some situations, but with them I don't find it necessary.
I get that Meredith has a problem with dealing with problems, but to me she's slowly learning how to deal with those.

I'd be perfectly fine if Meredith talked a bit more about her childhood with Derek. I'd love to see that.

It may be the result of the episode, who knows, but if they decide to take that route, then I wouldn't be a happy camper, because i think it's way too soon for them.
I think Derek was both devestated and upset in that situation. Upset with the Chief for considering the position of Chief to Burke despite what happened not so long ago, but devestated about the fact that he didn't get it and wasn't considered for it at all, which may result in more 'insecurity' problems with Derek, something he had in ep 10 as well.

again i respect your opinion, but i'm all for people exploring their personal issues, whatever they are. and i'm not talking about her relationships, as the problem, so im going to leave this alone. to each his own. time will tell which issues they choose to explore with them.

as for him being devastated, that is all up for intrepretation. for me he just looked upset, and hurt. i'm not for a proposal or marriage, but i'm not even really going to go there, until i see the show. well not go there on the boards.

if it happens, i'll wait to see how it's doen. if it doesn't, they'll be nothing to talk about.

I want they exploring their personal issues. I want they are talking, a long discussion it will be great. Now Derek is different, now they are a couple. I hope the writers will open their minds. OK, MD couple (together or not) give them good ratings all weeks but now it's the time for a deep relationship.

i think we are seeing a deep relationship. deep doesn't have to mean heavy, all the time. i think the balance is perfect.

but clearly it's not just happy this next show, so they give us a bit of everything. i look forward to the 4 of them having dinner. that should be fun.

I definatly think that the merder is being saved for sweeps or maybe even next episode.

I've gotten over my feelings from last night and well this morning and i definatly think that were gonna be seeing some major stuff soon!
